If I had a nickel for every time Jack had the repository of the Ancients into his brain I'd have 2 nickels... Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.

Every time Jack had the database in him, his mind was working on two or three levels. 1: The ancient knowledge trying to get him what or where he needed to go to accomplish the task (i.e building primitive zpm). 2: To communicate someway with his current self what had to be taken/started/created for the next step (i/e/ non-Abydos gate addresses). 3: To communicate at a level with others what his goal or part of it is (i.e. Crossword puzzle interaction with daniel; sh; at). This really shines when he creates the anti-replicator weapon and it's designed for non-ascended beings to use, but easily understood how to use by somehow who doesn't have the slightest clue how to use it or what it's for. Essentially, Ancient O'Neill had to think of how to build and plan ahead for people who were never going to be smart enough to converse with him.

One of my favourite things about this episode was how they showed the aliens who build the star gates were familiar enough with the system and its usage to systemize things like communication to facilitate its use. They didn't just dabble with the stargates.

Thanks for saying so. Warrior X4 is vastly superior and even an older Warrior 3 or 3s would be a better all around light. Totally recommend those.

These are great as a beacon. I clip mine onto the back side of my backpack and let it flash so people driving can see me walking on the side of the road at night. I also use them clipped onto the seat bag of my bicycle.
@contondant2 ай бұрын
Although I agree that it can certainly be used for that. The Olight Gober fits that bill for much less. In fact, I've gotten more than a few Gobers for free over the years as giveaways. That said, my complaint isn't that the Oclip doesn't have a use at all, but that it's promary inagined purpose isn't satisfied with the LED is has installed. I reckon if it had a floodier light, it would work better, not less well as a beacon light. Although, come to think of not, the red LED actually is a very floody 4 lumen light, something akin to what I'm suggesting the white should have been. www.olightstore.ca/olight-gober-safety-night-light

@@contondant A little more floodier would have been nice actually. I originally purchased it to clip onto the a-pillar trim in my truck to get some coverage that the interior light couldn't. I didn't use it for that purpose because it was too spotty. I kept it though because it worked well on my backpack.

@@RK-kn1ud Yes, exactly. I've received an Orange one and it's a tad better but not enough to real accomplish what I think this light is after.

Great video. if that was me i would been very afraid to point me out , I dont know the safety angles here but mooving from the right back corner while reloading would give me a great fear of DQ. im left handed so in this stage that would be a minor problem for me as my weapon would point the right way. but a wonderful film where you show different solutions.
@contondant7 ай бұрын
You're right. The 90s run in line with the back wall so it's definitely something to be cognizant of. As described, pointing at thr back target from the rear corridor doesnt break 90, but pointing at it from anywhere ahead of the back wall is a DQ. Thank you.

This is the exact reason they will never be able to successfully do a re-boot of Stargate SG1. Richard Dean Anderson was such a unique actor to play O’Neal. Plus all the other actors had such great chemistry with each other. They never will be able to recreate it.
