My customers look at those $35 hats compared to $12 - 15 and select the lower cost versions. Fortunately we can offer both.

Great video. So how soon is that video about the ability to use chrome tanned leather coming out. I use weaver but have always been getting the veg tanned but don't love the dying process.
@bashuck1Ай бұрын
Googling it suggests it could be because of Trivalent Chromium now being used instead of Hexavalent Chromium? Hadn't heard of those terms before but just read about it.
@mye-rinАй бұрын
Thanks for the tutorial Donny. Is your secret sauce a resolene based solution? How long are you waiting for the leather cement to dry before stitching? I've seen a bunch of hats and your quality outshines every one of them. Also what phone? Dang your close-ups are clean. Been talking with Robin up at Collier and about ready to pull the trigger on a S5 (you need to hit him up for a referral...lol). Much appreciated man.
@PGHATCOАй бұрын
Thanks for the compliment! It is resolene. I can stitch right away after cement but usually they will sit over at the machine for an hour or so before I get around to sewing them. Using my Pixel 8 pro for photos and videos. Good luck with the S5! I love it.

I would like to know where do you order your caps from? I am planning to start my own business here in India.Pls help

We are a direct Richardson dealer so we order straight through them. Our custom hats we have made for us. The rest we use SS Activewear.

Great video. I've been using resolene, but it's just too shiny. I need to figure out a way to cut it too end up with your "secret sauce". Any suggestions?
@PGHATCOАй бұрын
Resolene is our secrete sauce. You probably could add some water to cut it some but maybe do a test in a small bottle first.
@alphagrendelАй бұрын
I'll give it a try. You guys are amazingly helpful! We're still really small- a big order is two dozen hats, lol, but we hope to be where you're at someday! Thanks for the help.

Thank you for that video. That is exactly what I thought when I see all the videos with the heatpress. How long does it last before it falls off. I would rather spend a bit more money but can be sure that the patch will last. Would it be possible to see in one video how you create your designs for your patches? Greetings from Switzerland.
@PGHATCOАй бұрын
100% agree. You can get a legit sewing setup for the same cost as most of these people are spending on heat press setups and you know without a doubt it will never fail. I can do a design video.

Hi! Nice Work! I’m wondering if you coat this tile with something like paint etc. so the engraveer is transparent like without any colour? I know that if you use some rustoleum paint you will receive black engraveer, but how to receive this transparent result to paint it later? Thanks in advance for the answer.
@PGHATCO2 ай бұрын
No coating. Just engrave straight out of the box. I think the no color looks great also. We have some floating around with our family initials.

Hey, PG. I just watched your video because I am a liquidator that ended up with 2 Glowforge Pro's and I had no idea what they were. Anyhow, it seems you're running an awesome business with these... if you need any more, I have two that are listed on ebay, brand new in the box. I also have boxes with other accessories... seems to be extra trays, extensions, and some kind of air filters. I will make you the deal of a lifetime if you're interested. No reasonable offer refused.
