You guys can't even can't even keep a straight face to tell if the buffet was crap I just ate there today on August 25th 2024 it was overpriced and the food tasteless unless I Was 80 years old and I had the gum everything that's the only way that the food was and I'm not putting down people of older age but if you don't have any teeth that's a place to be if you don't care about taste it wasn't really pretty good it sucked it got a D minus the only reason I didn't get an F is because the salad bar was halfway decent don't lie just give the people that don't you're not going to hurt mgm's feelings their big company they know they putting out a harbor product just give an honest review if you're going to do KZfaq videos just give it honest review

When we ate there, it really was good. We have eaten at other buffets at MGM properties that we did not give a good review. So, I am sorry you had a bad experience, but our experience there really was good.

Nice overview. Funny, been going to Vegas for 30+ years... while I always think it's a gorgeous hotel, I don't have a desire to stay there. I think it's the amount of casual tourists walkers. It's busy, but not fun busy, party atmosphere... just busy of people just walking around. Not enjoyable.

We booked in the Tower, elite king which has a wet bar: coffee maker, fridge and sink. Also combed 4 nights 😊

@trbarton743 The Miracle Mile Shops are adding a lot of restaurants, and that area will be called Miracle Eats, I believe. One of the cheapest stores I have bought shirts, hats, and souvenirs is the stores that say either Welcome to Las Vegas gift shop or Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Nevada. Those stores have the iconic Las Vegas sign on them. They have those stores all over the Strip. Two are inside the Miracle Mile. Also inside Miracle Mile Shops is a store called Viva Vegas, and they usually have ball caps really cheap. I hope you have a very Happy Birthday and an amazing time when you visit later this week!!

@eololol I don't think there is a discount for just staying at Mandalay, but I did see on the MGM website (for Mandalay Bay) offers for 20% off on their tickets under the "offers" section. I am not sure if that is exclusively for MGM Rewards members or available to anyone.

The inclinator is fun to ride when you’re drunk lol. My only con when I stayed there was I stayed in the front of the pyramid and the walk to the pool was forever

But, I will say that the Greenbergs Reuben doesn't come with lettuce and tomatoes just because that is not what is usually on Reuben. I would assume some of the other sandwiches they have there would come with lettuce and tomatoes and would not be extra.

If you want to get from Luxor to say Resorts World or in that area. Do I have to take the Bus or is there a monorail etc that will take me close to there?

@travelmanMN- I personally would take a bus or Uber, because it is a lot of walking with the free tram or monorail to get you to that area. If you take the free tram, you would need to take the tram from Luxor to Excalibur, walk across to Park MGM and get on that free tram (which is at the very back of Park MGM), take that to the Bellagio, and from there it is over a 2 mile walk to Resorts World. If you use the paid monorail, you would take the free tram to Excalibur, walk across the street to MGM Grand, take the monorail there ( at the very back of MGM Grand) to Las Vegas Convention Center, and then it is about a 1.3 mile walk from there to Resorts World.

Next time walk over to the buffet at the Excalibur. They do a really good brunch for about the same $$. Southpoint also has a fantastic loss leader buffet if you have a car handy.

As a Yelp Elite Reviewer to see a place like this it shows signs in designs of smaller rooms close in match of the roadside hotels. All resort hotels are to have disabled rooms and those rooms to be much larger the room you showed was more of the low price .

The room design just seems so random. There's no Egyptian inspiration used in a single corner of the room. And as for the chipped paint on the doorframe, can they not hire someone to inspect the hallways on a daily basis to check for things like that--that make the hotel look tired or worn and fix them?
