Ramlethal's theme in GG:Strive is uncannily similar to "Bitches Crystal" by Emerson, Lake, and Palmer its obvious. Happy Chaos' theme and aesthetic points to Nirvana, glasses and all, and Gio's theme smacks of Beastie Boys/RATM era alt rock.

now that i re-listen to your comment it kinda makes sense for the character as johnny as well. his whole life is rebellion and it kinda reflects in the time signature of it being a bit off. ex military, ex terrorist. but all very straight forward. dont like a certain thing? hit it with a nuke. someone kidnapped your girlfriend? waltz in the front door. dont like the thing you have to carry around instead of an arm? abuse it with guitar riffs. (in lore of the old sources he had guitar riffs that normal people physically couldnt do because he stretched the arasaka arm he had to the limits) and so on.

When a section of the armor gauge (upper body or lower body) starts flashing, that's when it's vulnerable to an armor break move - those are the ones that make you flash, and their inputs depend on the character you're using. With less or no armor, you take damage faster, but you also move & attack faster. If you think the trade-off may be worth it, you can quickly press forward, back, forward, and back+punch+kick+defend to voluntarily shed all of your armor.

Okay, I hate to be THAT GUY, but I just have to disagree with you on this stick. Granted, I have the Street Fighter II Switch version of it, but it pretty much the same build. For what it is, I think this stick is not only viable, but surprisingly good quality. I just bought mine off eBay and it arrived today. I have been playing Ultra Street Fighter II and I am having a blast with it! You’re right; the stick and buttons are not as good as Sanwa, Happ, or Seimitsu. It is a budget priced item and it does not equal the quality of anything like real arcade components. That being said, I’m 46 and have been playing fighting games since 1992. I am not rough with my gaming equipment, nor do I intend on letting a bunch of kids mess up the things that I have. I taking my gaming seriously and I take care of what I have. This little stick is great for compact, easy to transport gaming. It’s small enough to take on-the-go, and it works very well for my fighting needs. Also, I love using it for shmups, as it has a number of options to customize buttons to “turbo,” if I need to shoot a horde of baddies all at once. The Hori Mini Fight Stick may not be ideal for everyone. It may not be as great as a $300 stick (my Junk Food Arcade Stick IS pretty awesome), but it is a fantastic option for gamers who travel, or for those just on a budget. I’m happy I bought this little guy and I recommend it to gamers who might be looking for something a little different. It’s compact, fun to play with, and is a great deal for the money. Your review is very well done, and I can appreciate many of the points you made. I just happen to have a different opinion and I thought I might share it.
