I ride a GoldWing. A friend who rode a Harley once boasted he could repair his hog on the side of the road if it broke down. My instant reply: "I ride a GoldWing - it doesn't break down." He never made that boast again. We're still friends.

lol. Like the old mopeds...gotta pedal the last mile to the gas station. Cool thing about those, you can carry an extra battery. My bike has 6 batteries, 32 pounds each for 192 pounds total. When it dies, I'm pushing. Only happened once in six years.

I own a 2022 Wing and have been getting the craziest, stupidest, mis informed stories from the dealers in this area. One insists that I HAVE to leave the bike at the dealership for at least a week while they check it out and order the pump. The recall DOES NOT apply to the code pump I have. I pulled the seat and checked. I know they still have to verify the info, but not replace. The other said it would take at least four hours to just gain access to the pump. Maybe it is more difficult on the airbag models, but not this one. I don’t think they have even read the recall.

I ride in the rain on my 1500 1995 goldwing. It has the high windshield and is kinda hard to see. If it's hot it feels good, I actually got saturated but it felt good. Only challenge was being able to see clearly.

That’s seat looks far superior than my saddlemen explorer with a back rest on my 18 lowrider. I hate my saddlemen. The back rest is nice and it’s adjustable, but the seat is so low and leaned back. And the gel gets hot and bleeds through the leather. It completely distorted the leather and looks like crap. Only had it for like 4 years maybe

I don't know how the Mustang held up because I traded the bike for a Gold Wing and slapped a Corbin on that. Oh man, it is the best seat I've ever sat on. Check them out if you're looking for a seat. I think you'd be very happy with one.

@JP197020 күн бұрын
Do you store them with a trickle charger or battery tender? I started doing that and think I’ve had better luck. Just curious…

It is so funny reading all the fuddy dutty comments. Most of the bikes mentioned below were not meant for speed. If you really want to go fast and tour I recommend buying a H2 SX SE and join the 200 mph club ladies.

I bought one from a non Harley dealer from a sale rack. Only 60 bucks. On the front it handled like dog shit. I could not wait until the next season to change it. On my flhs it was treacherous for handling. It seems to be a cruiser tire which is a slow steering tire unlike Harley tourers which are neutral and quick and need a stiff sidewall to stop flexing. I like the401 tire set for generally great everything about them.

A few things here. First, get a belly pan, it's cheap insurance. My owners manual states to use 10w30, but I'm sure the 10w40 is fine. Fill the oil filter prior to installing to alleviate a dry start. Your video didn't show any measurement of the new oil installed, even know most of us know it's 3.9qts on the non-DCT. After draining the oil out on the center-stand, get it off the center-stand and put it on the kick stand. Because the plug is on that side, leaning the bike to that side ensures that you're getting ALL the oil out. My first oil change was completely on the center-stand and I put 3.9qts. in and it was over filled because all the oil doesn't drain out on the center-stand. There is a couple of vid's on oil changes, you just have to search for them. Thanks for posting another video.
