we used to have a cabin up on Crescent Creek...love the area. I haven't been up there in a decade but I'm pretty sure I know the secret spot...I won't spoil it, I'll certainly have to check it out...maybe hike over to Betty Lake too.

We just had a fire! The company wants to hire a third party to buy things we lost. I said no! We lost kid’s yearbook, jewelry and Disney VHS tapes and purity rings. They want to know the retail value on these sentimental items! We put 1800. They want to know retail value. What can we do?

When your personal belongings get damaged, destroyed, or lost due to a fire, insurance will pay you to have them repaired or replaced. The value used by the insurance company is based on the market value of the damaged items and does not include the sentimental value. I'm sorry you have to ho through this. Make a very detailed list and do good research to find high values on items you lost and make copies for proof of value. Good luck

I grew up in Eugene/Springfield in the 80s. Went to Springfield High, GO MILLERS, and Sheldon High, Go Irish! Lol. I miss it so bad. I've lived all over America, from Oregon to New York, Wyoming to southern Louisiana, and my favorite place still is, and always will be, Springfield! I watched them move the historical train station to the location it is in now as well. It was awesome to see it travelling down the road, the wrong way...lol

As a real estate agent it’s a good idea to mention which of them are in wine country. My favorite of these is Union. Based on biking through there, as I have most of these towns. You might mention the fire risk, and the fact that oak ridge environs and economy have been affected by the fire there. But hey, it’s just a KZfaq clip to put your name out there and show your familiarity, so I shouldn’t be critical. Good for you for taking the step of putting yourself out there in your profession. Certainly great quality of life you can offer in each of these choices.

It sure gets red necky quickly.. However I just wonder how many conversations you’ve actually had with people in these places. They are rural and therefore insulated to a great degree. So worldly they are not, however I’m not sure they have enough exposure to races to call them racist. If you have anecdotal data points I’m all ears. I like Carlton and Union on this list, but definitely won’t be buying anything in either locale.
