I skated the same board for 4ish years. 25yrs later, I’m skating it again. It’s razortailed bad and a good amount of chips, but I can ollie and shove it, so it’s all good for now, lol

Because the shell is the same size for a small or an extra large… That will make you look like a stupid mushroom head walking around if you need a small. I was looking for a low profile helmet. I wish they would make the shell small on the small ones and make the shell large for the large ones. I guess that would make it more than $50.😂

What's the thickness of a board?
@tacticsboardshop
@tacticsboardshop 2 күн бұрын
The widths of skateboards varies a lot depending on people's preferences usually between 7.5 - 10 inches. The thickness however is pretty standard across all skateboard manufacturers. It's 7 thin veneer plies of hard maple. The thickness will vary slightly depending on what factory it was made at but it's generally around 10mm or 0.4 inches thick. I hope that answers your question! 👍🛹 - Tim

I have difficulty landing my backboard on the board, does anyone have any recommendations/ways to fix it?

I spray with WD-40, spin the crap out of them, wipe them off good, then use automotive bearing grease, spin them again.There's really nothing special about bearings, they are just bearings. But automotive grease will last a super long time, it will keep water out too.

Im new to skateboarding, i have knee pads and elbow pads, Is it necessary to wear gloves if i fall and land on my hands?
@tacticsboardshop
@tacticsboardshop 7 күн бұрын
Gloves would definitely prevent you from shredding up your hands. It depends on where you're skating. If the ground is really rough, then gloves would be a good idea, but if you're mostly skating on smooth skatepark ground, then you shouldn't have a problem. - Tim 👍
