Ramon Guzman es la persona que, realmente representa y tiene gran valor para nuestra comunidad en Paterson NJ, cómo para Ranchete Los Hidalgos y todo el municipio de Los Hidalgos, El has hechos grandes aportes para bien de nuestra comunidad en Paterson, como para nuestro municipio de Los Hidalgos. Lo bueno de él, es que desafía cualquier objetivo que se proponga, es admirable cuando El se llena de valor y desafía las adversidades. Yo, en lo personal lo admiro y felicito porque no se ha dejado arrastrar ni se ha apasionado de la política, porque entrar a la política es entrar al mundo de los mentirosos, y, Ramon Guzman tiene un corazón muy noble.

Mi amigo Ramón, tremenda entrevista! Fuiste no solo un socio , sino un colaborador visionario que cambio mi vida. Nuestro viaje de negocios juntos comenzó a la tierna edad de 17 años cuando nos embarcamos en la creación de nuestra línea de ropa, “Bohio”. Pequeño sabíamos que nuestra humilde empresa pronto cautivaría los corazones de innumerables adolescentes en Nueva York y Nueva Jersey, vistiendo con los “T-Shirts. Desde los modestos confines de la cocina de mi madre y la de tu casa , orquestamos vibrantes conciertos y fiestas que resonaban en lugares locales y planes de estadios impulsados por nuestra determinación inquebrantable. Fue durante estos años formativos que descubrí mi pasión por el marketing y Advertising, observando meticulosamente los matices de la identidad de marca y la participación del público. Propuse la transformación de nuestra marca en cambiando nuestro nombre “Romy Ramón”, una decisión que inconscientemente se inspiró en figuras como Ralph Lauren y Calvin Klein. Con el apoyo inquebrantable de Ramón, este audaz movimiento dio sus frutos de formas que nunca podríamos haber imaginado; nuestros eventos se agotaron y el éxito nos siguió en abundancia. Ramon Guzman has been a trailblazer an amazing role model to many, especially me. The following is my biography. My achievements would not be possible without the extraordinary impact Ramon had on my life. Born and raised in the City of Paterson, George Guzman, Jr. has emerged as an exemplary leader in both law enforcement and public service. At the young age of 29 in 2015, he achieved the rank of Police Lieutenant, where he oversaw the Detective Bureau and Field Operations Bureau. His unyielding dedication and proficiency were further recognized in 2021, at 36 years old, when he was promoted to the rank of Police Captain. As a Captain, he provided oversight to the Administrative Services Bureau, including the Office of Professional Standards. In 2023, at 38 years old, he reached yet another milestone in his career, attaining the rank of Deputy Chief of Police. Currently serving as second-in-command of the Haledon Police Department, Under the direction of the Chief of Police, Deputy Chief Guzman administers the day-to-day operations in the Office of the Police Administration, skillfully balancing his ability to work alongside officers in the field while efficiently managing the development of department policies and procedures. Deputy Chief Guzman takes immense pride in serving as a trailblazer within the law enforcement community, a distinction evident in his historic achievements. He holds the distinction of being the first minority officer to ascend various ranks, including Detective, Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain, and Deputy Chief of Police in the history of Haledon. This remarkable feat reflects his unwavering dedication, professionalism, and commitment to breaking barriers in law enforcement. With his expertise and reputation in the field, Deputy Chief Guzman has been sought after for various assignments with county and state agencies throughout his career. Additionally, he has proudly served as a Police Academy Instructor and earned the esteemed status of being one of only three hundred Drug Recognition Experts in the State of New Jersey. This distinction allows him to provide expert testimony in a court of law within the Borough of Haledon and the State of New Jersey. The recognition of Deputy Chief Guzman's commendable service is evident through the accolades he has received. He is the recipient of numerous Distinguished Service Awards from the Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Campaign from 2010 to 2013. Further, he has been honored with the 2014 and 2015 Public Safety Distinguished Service Award from the 35th Legislative District State Senate and Assembly Representatives. Deputy Chief Guzman is also a member of the New Jersey Police Honor Legion, an esteemed association awarded to him for his apprehension of a bonafide gang member who possessed a loaded handgun during a motor vehicle stop. His civic contributions and inspiration have garnered recognition from institutions such as William Paterson University of New Jersey, the Mayor's Office, and the Municipal Council of both the City of Paterson and the Borough of Haledon. Throughout his career, Deputy Chief Guzman has consistently received citations and commendations, including but not limited to, the Chief's Star Medal, the Gallantry Star Medal, the Unit Citation Medal, the Life-Saving Medal, the Drug Buster Medal, the Samaritan Medal, and the Distinguished Volunteer Service Medal. Deputy Chief Guzman's dedication to service extends beyond law enforcement, as he currently serves as a duly elected member of the Haledon Public School District Board of Education. Additionally, he holds the position as a committee member with the Haledon Recreation Department. For four years, his fellow school board members have entrusted him with the role of President, unanimously recognizing his leadership capabilities. As a product of the City of Paterson School System, Deputy Chief Guzman's achievement as the first minority President of the Haledon Board of Education holds great significance. During his presidency, he played a pivotal role in delivering a zero percent increase to the tax levy without any cuts in services for four consecutive years. Furthermore, he oversaw the expansion of pre-school and after-school care programs, including the Certified Angels Program. Notably, Deputy Chief Guzman expertly handled an unprecedented Superintendent Search and efficiently managed the school district's response during the COVID-19 public health crisis. It is worth highlighting that, during the pandemic, the Haledon Public School District offered the most in-person instructional hours in Passaic County. Deputy Chief Guzman also serves as the Deputy Emergency Management Coordinator for the Borough of Haledon, where he is responsible for completing the borough's Emergency Operations Plan and overseeing emergency mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery efforts. Deputy Chief Guzman also serves as the Chief Operating Officer on the Board of Directors of the World Organization for Positive Action (W.O.P.A.), which is a non-profit organization known for providing humanitarian relief to the less fortunate both here and abroad. Outside of his professional and civic responsibilities, Deputy Chief Guzman cherishes spending time with his wife Edlyn and their children. Alongside this, he enjoys coaching local sports teams and mentoring individuals who seek guidance. Although Deputy Chief Guzman resides in the Borough of Haledon with his family, his deep ties to his beloved hometown of Paterson remain unbreakable. Paterson holds a special place in his heart as his mother, father, brothers, and sisters continue to reside in the vibrant Silk City.

Para mi es gran honor, que a mi llegada a la ciudad de paterson New jersey, conocer la familia Guzman, sinónimo de humildad, servicio, y entrega, Ramón Guzman es un ser humano, extraordinario, gracias a él uno de mis sobrinos hoy posee licencia de electricista en el estado de New jersey, Ramon es un emprendedor, un ejemplo a seguir, no soy dado a opinar mucho, pero en este caso , el espacio y el tiempo me son cortos para describir a ese gran ser humano, bendiciones hoy mañana y siempre
