I used rentals.dvcshop.com/ The whole renting points intimidated me a bit. I liked how this web site you book already reserved rooms just like you would any other hotel reservation. I do talk a little more about it at 21:15 in the video :)

I wish they did too! You could always go with a transportation company but it will be more money. Will you be traveling alone? The ride is very quick luckily. Uber has an emergency line on the app that has your location. Or stay on the phone with someone during your ride. And always check the license plate so you know it’s your Uber and not some random pretending!

I just tip as if it was the cost of a regular drink at any other hotel bar. The bartenders were super nice and deserving here

Thanks for your video? Do you know if each section has its own kids club? Which section would you recommend if traveling with a newly minted 4 year old. Nervous it’s too big to get around with a kiddo in tow. Would rather not bring a stroller…

The Beach and Caribe share a kid's club. The Colonial and Tropical share a kid's club. Then the palace has its own club. I would recommend staying at the caribe or colonial section. That is center to most the activities and kid slides that way you will have to do the least amount of walking. The beach is also great there. I can let you know more in 2 weeks because my brother will be staying there with his almost 4 year old in June!

Awesome video! Follow up question: My family wants to stay at Caribe, but still be able to eat at the Palace and Adult only a la carte restaurants. Is this possible? I thought I saw somewhere that you can do that if you pay $20-30 more per person per reservation? Also confused on the reservations. We’re staying 4 nights but only get 2 vouchers?

Thank you! And yes you can pay to eat at those restaurants if you are staying at Caribe. If you are not premium, then for 4 nights you do get 2 vouchers for the restaurants. Buffets are the option for the other days. If you are premium, then you have unlimited restaurant usage. Enjoy your stay!!

I have a trip planned with my adult son's in September for my 50th. We are booked for Colonial right now. I'm curious as to what the difference would be if we opted to upgrade. I'm wondering if it's worth the extra cost. Feeback is appreciated. Thank you!

That sounds like an amazing time! Do you mean upgrade to premium or upgrade to the more expensive sections of the resort? If you get a premium pass you get room service, shorter line for check in (there is a premium lounge) , unlimited restaurant bookings,premium beverages and 20% off at the spa. I have done premium before and did enjoy it, but it was not a must have. If you guys are late night eaters, the room service portion may be worth it! If you meant upgrading to the higher sections (adult only or palace) you would be open to the food and entertainment in those areas that otherwise you would not see. At Colonial you can visit the Beach, Tropical or Caribe. I personally like being able to go to the entire resort but it all depends on the cost. The Colonial is a great section right in the middle of the fun! I would just say its all price depending. You will have a blast either way!

Royal Carribean allows you to bring 12 bottles on board but you will go through that fast. Carnival and NCL have banned it. I would recommend just bringing a refillable water bottle!

I am glad you got to cruise but the masks were giving me anxiety. I ended up watching the cruises with no masks. I loved your pre cruise video! Great recommendations. We are actually taking a train from Jacksonville down to Miami the day before we cruise and stay overnight.

Looking back at this, the masks give me anxiety too! Not to mention, they ruined all my pictures lol. I’m so glad it’s not a rule any longer. And a train would be so fun! Have a great time!!

I'm getting ready to embark on Oasis of the Seas for the second time, out of Barcelona. Can't wait!! No matter how many Oasis of the Seas videos I watch, no one stays for Cats. This is unfortunate and Royal Caribbean must know this but yet the show keeps playing and playing ang playing lol.

I read in one of the comments there's a voucher system for meals. Is that just for dinners? Is there food available all the time? We went to an all-inclusive and there were set meal times, and very limited snacks in between meals or after dinner

That is just for the restaurants! Buffet is available most of the time. I feel like there was a half hour or so it may have closed switching from breakfast to lunch. They have a bar called strikers with late night food as well!
