That is amazing. From where in Arizona was the captured? Yuma or maybe Havasu?

@@AzTacoSauce Very cool. Brings back memories growing up in Miami; if the conditions were favorable, my dad and I would be able to see Space Shuttle night launches from the backyard about 20 seconds after launch. The exhaust plume trails of the SpaceX vehicles are on a different level though.

Damn, didn't know you could see it that well from AZ. You could even see the faint glow from the entry burn.

Rockets turn when try to reach a orbit
@Delta36A18 күн бұрын
Because that is not how rockets/orbits work. To be in oribt around a body you need sufficient lateral velocity. Rockets going for orbit start out going vertically up to get above the thick lower atmosphere, but very quickly start a turn to the side to build lateral velocity. If rockets just went straight up they would just come straight back down unless they reached the Earth's escape velocity.

I caught a tiny glimpse of this by accident a few minutes ago! I was pulling out of a parking spot and looked out my window and saw it behind some whispy clouds, so I pulled right back into the spot and jumped out but by then it was behind those big clouds. Still cool for the couple seconds I saw it for though.
@AzTacoSauce10 күн бұрын
Awesome! We need the rain, but the clouds could have at least gotten out of the way so we could see the launch! lol

Great video, I built a stingray awhile back and have flown it but really never got it dialed in, I believe i need to get the CG dialed in. I will try and take pictures of it tomorrow and pass them on to you. What would you suggest a good FPV setup for a beginner, that I could use on like a glider for starters and move it onto to the stingray. Are these videos taken with the same camera that your viewing while flying?. Great job guys , Love your videos 👍
@AzTacoSauce5 ай бұрын
Awesome, I use the DJI fpv gear, all of the flight footage is from the same camera that I get the live feed from but this is from an onboard DVR, the quality is a little bit better then what I am seeing in my goggles. We have a few people that fly with us that have been able to get 2nd hand gear for a pretty good deal. That’s what I would do if I was just getting started

I have been building and flying this model for years. I can tell you the designer is an awesome person, hyperintelligent. Help anybody with anything. We have guys that fly 3D with this model. I have low power set-ups (2212 - 2000Kv - 6X4 prop on a 2200Ma 3 cell) and high power set-ups (T-Motor F80-2500KV-6X4 prop on a 4 cell). The harder I push this plane the better it responds. Blast in high winds or calm. It fly's right out of your hand without throwing it.
