This looks like a very healthful recipe but ruined, as I usually see in most recipes with "vegetable oil" which is seed oils that are very bad for health. Replace it with beef fat, duck fat or lard or clarified butter to cook the liver. It will also taste better.

So simple! I have the same brand of liver in my freezer. Going to make some patte now!

Can you blend seeds also? Is there a easy way to remove seeds?
@homecafeblog4 ай бұрын
Hi! I think some of the seeds may float on top when you boil the fruits, but it’s not really a solution. I would recommend using the variety of mandarins that has less to none seeds. Unfortunately, there is no easy way to remove seeds that I know of. Sorry about that

Friend of mine has delicious fruit but lots of seeds. Was hoping there was a way. Guess we will just enjoy as a peeled snack 😎👍🏽 Thanks for reply

Ingredients: - 10 scallops - Salt - Olive oil - 1 tbsp butter - 1 tbsp capers - Juice of 1 Meyer lemon - 1/4 tsp pepper - 1/2 tsp coriander seeds - 1/2 tsp celery seeds Instructions: 1. Sprinkle spice blend and salt over the scallops. 2. Heat the pan over medium-high heat. Add olive oil to the pan. Place the scallops on the pan and cook them on one side without moving them for about 2 minutes. Flip the scallops and add butter. Rotate the pan to cover all the scallops with the butter. Cook for about 2 minutes more. 8. Remove the scallops from the pan and set them aside. Add capers and lemon juice to the pan. Cook and stir until the liquid thickens. Pour the sauce over the scallops and serve hot.

I AGREE that SALT must be only added at the VERY END of cooking of liver, because otherwise it will harden it. Someone told me about this and I tried it once and it was best liver I ever did!

I wonder if sauteing in salted butter has the same effect? I'm gonna go grab some unsalted just in case. Glad I found out about the salt thing before starting.
