My BarcusBerry of 1978 sounded so much better. Perhaps an impedance issue, or Tape ... But for what I'm hearing, perhaps this is why both are used and mixed together. 2 cents.

Good basic description, however l have one thing. The gain control adjusts the level of the signal entering the channel. The fader is the volume control . It controls the volume of the level of the signal being passed by the gain control. At least that’s what I was taught some 50 years ago. Great video for beginners thanks.

May I ask, how do you know when the battery is discharged or full? I’m a bit confused by the battery icon. 😅 My manual is in spanish and google translating it was no help. Haha.
