Unique Monsters are such a great idea in general, and the vast majority of my most memorable Xenoblade fights have been against various Unique Monsters I fought while underleveled.

I think the reason for these higher level monsters to exist is so that the player has a reason to go back and explore those past areas. (Other than side quests that is). It could also be so that the player could level up, like in 3, there's an area in the cadensia region filled to the brim with lvl 90-100 monsters which removes your access to the ouroboros powers in order to make you fight more tactically.

I didnt think noah as bland protagonist we cannot blame him because he has been born as a soldier afterall in this His personality is pretty much the same to yu narukami inside persona 4 they look bland at first but in the later chapter he show how he is the best MC for xenoblade because how much life for him as a character in the story Sometime i cry to when show his alter ego backstory N blud just solo moebius thousand times and become broken as a character

While the FR system is great for FR itself, I don’t think it would work with how base XC3 is designed without tweaks to the system or tweaking the levelling system for the non dlc and dlc classes in the game. However it definitely could be implemented as a nice way of powering up the casts ouroboros forms (perhaps even reward players with additional traversal options with the ouroboros form to make navigating the world feel less daunting) but the system would have to be somewhat simplified a bit to accommodate the games larger worlds.

Nice job with your video your editing skills are great. id like add on to your list and mention a few songs that I think are amazing. I think fighting spirt(dragon quest 7) is a goofy but still climatic battle theme. It fits perfect with akari toriyamas art style pretty well. the mini boss and boss theme of smt 4 are crazy exciting. The way it hypes you up but also puts dread into your body is brilliant. Smt strange journeys battle theme is also great because it starts when you actually engage with the enemy. It starts off slow and quiet while your making your decision to fight or run. But when you attack that’s when the music really begins and you start regretting your decision. This is why it’s perfect at conveying the fear of the unknown. Digital devil saga and smt nocturne also have great theme. And lastly the whole guilty gear strive soundtrack is great. It tells the story of the characters while being fire to listen to. Amazing video keep up the good work.

Wow, I actually think a lot about this subject so I didn't really learn anything, but because I think a lot about it I know how hard it is to put your thought in words on this subject, expecially covering this much in only 15 minutes, which is kinda short, well done. And it's always good to hear someone talking about a subject that I love. I would have 1 points to add and one soundtrack to talk about, this will be kinda long and I'm not a native english speaker so sorry if it's hard to read. My first point is especially true for fighting games : Fighting games are not "narrative games", but each fight have to tell a story, and music helps a lot in that matter, take SF2 for example, dev had limited memory at the time, and they had to tell as much thing as possible only using visuals and audios arts, resulting in themes like chun, guile, gief or vega where you can tell character's country after a few notes. The soundtrack I want to talk about is Guilty Gear and more specifically the last entry : Strive. I listened its soundtrack a lot and I started to realize that most songs share a common 40s (approximately) pattern, for example it can be a 40s intro, then 40s verse, then 20s chorus+20s instrumental then 40s 2nd verse etc.... (I mean the song can be broken down into around 40s segments that works on their owns) and in those songs the only part that don't follow this pattern is the final part, which is barely possible to hear in an actual match because it happens too late. After realizing this, I watched a lot of my or pros matchs and I realized that most of the time, 40s is a time when the matchs changes state : If one player is destroying the other, it is the total duration of the match, if the match is a bit slower, 40s is the duration of a round, and if the match is really slow, 40s is the moment when players start to stop testing each other and begin the actual fight. What I mean is that the songs have the same effect as a dynamic soundtrack without being one, which in my opinion is even more impressive than dynamic themes, now remember about the final part that is never heared in match : the begining of the song is an actual battle theme whereas the final part is not, and that's why those part are really differents from the rest of the songs : they don't have the same role. To me, this is made possible because the composer Daisuke Ishiwatari is not only the composer but also the creator and director of the game, he knows the game and how to play it because he makes it, hence he can adapt the soundtrack to the game better than anyone else. Thanks if you read that, and good luck for your next works, amazing content.

i think the reason xenoblade 3 used a differnt enemy instead of rotbart was becuase they knew he was so iconic and was saving his baby form for the expansion, still kept his brother immovable gonzalos though. its funny how the giant monkes have become a xenoblade staple

The feeling of walking into an area, seeing the level of the monsters and just turning around because "That looks like a bad idea" is surprisingly great. There's just the faint adrenaline rush as you realize you were about to walk straight into a bloodbath, and a certain degree of relief after you escape it. The first game even gives this gem of a tip- Running away is a valid tactic

The AP system feels like a greatly expanded version of the nopon coin system for classes in the base game. The major difference being the depth (which works great with 6 classes, a lot worse with 20 per character) and the fact you can't just grind them up by killing the same enemy group over and over. Honestly, i think thats great. Whilst, again, i don't think the full system would work in the base game due to just having way more classes, being able to grab levels on your classes by exploring was the major driver for much of my exploration in Xenoblade 3, and making it so fighting every enemy type, collecting all the various items, intwracting with all the pieces jn the world, and killing the various unique monsters all worked towards getting you levels on all your classes could add a lot to the exploration.

I think Rex's Cross Blaze art is likely inspired from Morag's Blaze art with Bridghids weapon. Not only both names involving "blaze" in their name. Both animations follow a similar motion, starting with arms crossed and above the shoulders. attacking swinging crossing their weaopns ending with each arm on their respective side and hands by the waist/hip

The end of FR Shulk's animation for Monado Armour is also similar to the pose that Dunban uses when activating an aura - not sure if it's a specific one, or in general.
