Thank you for your tremendous leadership of Western New England University. The growth of our wonderful community has been greatly accelerated by your personal energy. Our great university is a direct reflection of the class and dignity set by your consistent example. I am proud to have known you and wish all the best to you and your family.

Congratulations and all the best to you and yours. I recall graduating from WNEU in 1972 and wanting to live locally in the area, but it never happened (unfortunately). Western Massachusetts is a special place for me, because one of my great uncles (Dr. Thornton W. Merriam) taught there following his retirement from the position of Dean of Springfield College, and as I recall, he took great enjoyment from it. Always be proud of this university, I was proud to be a part of it (however briefly) (1970-72). May peace be with you always.
