Many fans were asking continuously why Sidhu was jailed. He made an entire song to make people understand under what case he was jailed. In the song he mentioned simply that "Jatt/Gabru (both meaning somewhat like "young guy" referring to Sidhu himself) utte case jehda Sanjay Dutt tey" meant Sidhu was jailed under the same Law/ACT that Sanjay Dutt was jailed for. Now this speaks volume, rather than explaining all the ACT if you say this, entire country will understand the thing as Sanjay Dutt's case was very very very popular. Anyone born from 40s to 90s know exactly why was Sanjay Dutt jailed. It had a huge impact for 93 Mubmai Bomb Blasts case as well. This is just explaining his situation with reference to someone else's. Also, since Sanjay Dutt was now free, he was also building a hope in people that just like Sanjay Dutt he would also be freed and there is no need to worry (since the case is exactly the same). That's why in the end he said "tension na leya kar" (do not stress out). The only catch here was, Sanjay Dutt was caught in the possession of AK47 whilst Sidhu did nothing to that extent. The case was false. Sidhu fired with the permission of Police and his clips were used against him by Police only. He was never caught with weapons like AK47. He always had the license of whatever weapons he had.
