Love how this track incorporates both Bond elements and the sound of the 70’s…….well done!!

I don't think I've ever heard a harp paired with full percussion before. Very interesting concept for the instrumentation.

Wouldn't this have been an exciting recording session to see in person? Blind Guardian is playing, I assume, but there's also a full orchestral percussion section and a full size choir. I wish I'd been in that choir.

My first bond film was Live and Let die which I watched in 1982 at the age of 8 on VHS. Suprisingly I did not initially watch it from the beginning but from the boat chase scene. My first Sean Connery film was Gold finger and because I had watched a couple of Roger Moore films, it was at first strange, I kept on looking for when Bond would appear and did not understand the film. Suprisingly by 1986, I had watched all the Bond films that had been done up to a View to a kill, whether on VHS or Television.

I will never forget as an 8 year old being taken by my parents to the cinema to see this, when Bond disappears over the edge of the cliff and his parachute opens to reveal the Union Jack practically the entire place cheered and whistled in appreciation, and to top it off during the ‘interval’ I was treated to a King Cone.

Much more likely to happen when the cinema is full. Happened when I saw Revenge of the Sith and the audience saw Yoda pick up a light saber. This is my favorite Bond moment and I imagine it getting such a reaction every time I see it. Thank you for the confirmation.
