My first bond film was Live and Let die which I watched in 1982 at the age of 8 on VHS. Suprisingly I did not initially watch it from the beginning but from the boat chase scene. My first Sean Connery film was Gold finger and because I had watched a couple of Roger Moore films, it was at first strange, I kept on looking for when Bond would appear and did not understand the film. Suprisingly by 1986, I had watched all the Bond films that had been done up to a View to a kill, whether on VHS or Television.

one of the best bond films of all time, i still have the original VHS and i wasn't even born when it came out.

I will never forget as an 8 year old being taken by my parents to the cinema to see this, when Bond disappears over the edge of the cliff and his parachute opens to reveal the Union Jack practically the entire place cheered and whistled in appreciation, and to top it off during the ‘interval’ I was treated to a King Cone.

The best use for the SPECTRE bluray disc, is to stand your beer on it while watching They Spy Who Loved Me for the umpteenth time...😁
