Before Black Mirror, we got Rod Serling giving us life lessons as an anthology series called The Twilight Zone. _”After all, truth is much stranger than fiction.”_

This is one of my favorite episodes because it was so prophetic. You have to wonder what Mr. Serling would think of the turmoil going on today.

I felt like I was being surrounded by a hostile society that cared little for my health care choices as an individual during the COVID-19 pandemic. I was scolded by talking heads in the media, celebrities, and even family members for refusing to take the vaccine.

Dude. I just saw this episode and it was so chilling. We are so close to being in the middle of this type of evil world right now, if the left continue to corrupt and destroy everything America stood for. What a powerful, sad, horrifying episode.

Anyone who says "this is about the conservatives" or "this is about the liberals" is completely missing the point.

I truly believe, Rod was a time traveler….he chose this new median (television) to warn humans about what’s to come or to be cautious above our decisions we make….a guide…a mentor…a teacher for mankind……one rule was to never directly tell us but indirectly tell us about the red flags & warnings…..if he chose 1990’s it would be too late…..30 years would went by and he wouldn’t of open the minds and collective consciousness….it would be too late…..one thing is…he would of lived longer, so,e one would of warned him about those tasty white tobacco sticks that gives hime a buzz, called cigarettes….they are deadly ……the end

Is this ever the state of things in the USA here in 2024: "Logic is an enemy, and truth is a menace." They shout "Disinformation is dangerous, fear it!". What they (our Obama/Biden government) really mean is "information control".
@functionatthejunction24 күн бұрын
Obama has nothing to do with governing the US. And its not liberals using misinformation r attempting to control it mate. I dont see them spreading lies, telling people to mistrust science, or trying to ban books.

This was the best scene (other than Kimble being exonerated) in the entire series!!! Gerard was lecturing Kimble on creating reality from a fantasy, trying to convince himself he was right, but in reality, it was GERARD himself trying to do that regarding Kimble’s guilt. These two actors were so on top of their games and played exceptionally well off of each other. Rest in peace David Janssen and Barry Morse

I hope they each had a dry pair of socks to change into when they got back to their respective sides. (I always found it weird that soldiers wore shoes rather than boots during the civil war)

That's all they had. Some started out barefoot.
@nicknoga5642 ай бұрын
@@MellowTorch It's not as if boots didn't exist at that time...lol. What I meant is that soldiers wearing boots was already a well-established military tradition by the time of the 1860's. They'd been worn in many wars up to that point in America---- but switched from boots to low-top shoes for some reason (which I don't understand).
