I have only since it in my local store twice in many years. I didn’t ask but I’m sure someone in store could have more info. I’m guessing it’s one of those things where if they get it, they get it.

The video itself isn’t a true blind of all three. It’s more of a blind in a sense that we don’t know which one will we choose to review, so we wouldn’t know what to expect. If we blinded all three the video would be too long. So we split the “blind” into 3 parts.

Ive seen this bottle and want it so bad, but just can't because it would cost me $90.70 out the door. love the 1910 & 1920 even the 100-proof signature bottle and even the 86 proof is good, but that SB would have to come down about $15 for me to pull the trigger on it! 🥃Cheers!

I kind of think about the pricing is set similar to the Elijah Craig BP A,B,C’s… I wish they were the same, about $10-15 less but still worth it if you love their product!

@@BourbonBeats01 In upstate NY most bottles such as the Elijah Craig BP are hard to find, and my personal limit is $69.99 + tax @ $75.59. I dont want a bottle that once I'm down into the bottle it becomes a shelf trophy or unicorn bottle, I want something that if I like it I know I can just walk in a buy another.

Had the Ezra 99. Price is was head-turner but just okay (weak nose/okay on the palate). Hopeful that the 7 Yr will save the Ezra Brooks brand for me. As it stands, Luxco’s other brands (Penelope, Rebel and Remus) are all great in my book. Thanks guys

I love Old Forrester 1920, never have known about the single barrel Rye. I have the JD Barrel Proof Rye, and they do vary greatly depending on the barrel, proof and warehouse. I love the one I have, bottled in 2023, so much going on with this pour, orange peel, buttered toast, coconut sugary and then the savory rye notes-pepper, salami ?

You have to remember this is a blend of Sazerac products, not just BT. It has a higher percentage of Canadian whiskey within the Sazerac family of brands. The case they come in ONLY says blended and bottled at Buffalo Trace.

Amazingly, off camera… I drank it fresh crack and it tasted pretty good! But that was the One and Only time. Maybe it was something I ate that day. Now it’s just normal low-ok

Its a pass my wife likes it I don't personally drink Canadian whiskey so not for me. I do find it funny its a BT bottle but has zero BT in it. I'd buy it for my wife if it was 25 a bottle but at 40 its a hard pass.

I loved your comparison video!! I have discovered the Jack Daniels Barrel Proof, I love Elijah Craig Barrel Proof bottles and I think that these compete on that level! We definitely agree, Now to be fair we have had some bottles of Jack Daniel’s single barrel that just didn’t hit. But it’s so few that we still will always recognize how good JDSB is.

I don't think the price difference is worth it, to me. I only have had 1 Blanton's Gold and I think the taste is not that much better, for the large price difference

As with the comment I answered on, it’s a tough sell. I say buy it once in your life and check it out. But as in the video, I taste the same regular Blanton’s in the gold. The gold just lasted longer on the taste.

All Knob creek are fantastic pours. Yes the single barrels are my favorite but I always have a 9 year on my bar. Personally I’d rather have Knob than just about anything. And certainly it’s better than most BT options. This is for my palate you have yours.

When you picked what you thought was better, you picked your right side and said it was the jack because jack was your first love. At the beginning you said jack was your first love but during covid 1920 became your favorite. Then when you were wrong and it was actually the old fo you said old fo was your first love, after twice saying jack was your first love. I havent had the old fo SiB rye, yet, but i will soon. I requested it on a local stores allocated list when i finally showed up the other day, just waiting for them to tell me to pick it up. Jack SiB BP rye is amazing. It guna be hard to beat, especially value wise since the jack is cheaper. I been watchin reviews of the old fo SiB rye, and tho everyone says its good, they all said the jack was better. Only seen 1 vid where he didnt like the old fo SiB rye, said he doesnt find anything in it that makes him want to go back to it, but the bottle was 7/8 gone, so he obvi went back to it many many times. I really dont care which is better, as long as the old fo is as good as i have heard it was since im paying $100 for it.

I did a White Dog in a new charred barrel, after the rinse I put a little maple syrup for 3 week. Then white dog for 4 months. Blew me away!
