Damn a life of slavery, but our country depends on great men like this.
@safiremorningstar9 күн бұрын
Slavery would mean he didn’t get paid. He got paid for his service therefore it’s not slavery not by the definition of that word. And based on the fact that when you were drafted most are four years, he must have a reenlisted at least a couple of times unless of course somebody forgot to send him his paperwork can happen. My father had that happened to him when he was in Korea briefly and because he has a French name , and they thought that Jean was a woman’s name, forgetting that some people have that French name which means John, so for brief, while my father was still in the military because they sent the letter to the women’s auxiliary core until somebody from there realize they got it wrong and sent it back and well the rest is history… but there’s a lot about his story that is shall we say not a parent and what they are telling… in other words there’s more to this than meets the eye.

The draft saved my life the coach kicked me out.... My parents ..real patriots in there fashion kicked me out...I was wearing rags...and card board in my shoes....finding a job didn't last long. Coach or parents told boss to let me go....the army got my diploma....while I was given 5 changes of clothes. 2 pair of boots and fine Patton leather shoes..with a class a uniform. And it's the first time I ever seen 5 kinds chicken and more food than I ha seen in a long time...I got shouted at often. Though I stayed 20 years I was happy as a bob cat in a chicken coop. 😊😊😊😊

I joined in 1975. Went back and forth between Active, ARNG & ARes. Enlisted, WO, Commissioned. Took early out after Desert Storm in 1992. Recalled due to critical skill. Did Afghanistan, Iraq, Kuwait a few times. Retired in 2007 but retained commitment for critical skill and VSI (1992) service obligation. Still in the reserves with A Million Civilians and will get final discharge / retirement points adjustment on 30 September 2025 ... 50 years and 5 days after my initial AFEES swearing in. DOPMA & ROPMA ... service obligation is the trump card when you get a W2 from DFAS. Gerald Ford was CINC when I joined. If RPAS counted in the NBA, I'd be 73rd on the all time points list!

Then getting master jump wings then decide let’s fly started flying Cobras then started flying Huey’s and then blackhawks and armed his master aviator wings .
