I can answer for you. His set up and his seating has the drums a slight away from him you can see his right leg is stretched Infront rather than the standard position of knee ontop. And the same for his left foot on the high hat and further strained by how wide apart he has those foot pedals from the drums. That said I cannot fault the guy for this. His dynamics and playing appears unaffected and so this just might be an example of personal preference. Even Vinnie Coliauta in his early career days had a weird set up which saw the drums way above him and his drum stool so low that his knees were above a his pelvis. This drummer has his pedals apart and a slight Infront but as for his hand drum position I see standard fair including his cymbals. His toms and cymbals are in normal position. His bass drum is clearly far Infront and his hi hat way wide aside. But seeing that his playing is so spot on, I cannot fault his set up choice at all. Rember, our ears hear the music and not our eyes. His set up is his comfort and choice, as long as the music isn't affected. And clearly his music playing isn't affected negatively by his set up. You must agree with me, he's brilliant
