Not taking the screen out at a oil change is not smart with this being the first oil change ever you should inspect and see what the engine is telling you

The bike is great I’ve got the 2023 ranger green one , I’m not fond of the color but that’s easily changed , just some word of advice run alcohol free gas if you can get it it will save you a lot of carb issues when you let them sit for a long period of time

THANK YOU for not stretching the tires. it pisses me off when grom owners do this just to look cool. meanwhile they compromised their ability to corner safely. and we all know cornering is the best part about a grom. what do they say, its more fun to ride a slow bike fast, than a fast bike slow

For what its worth , i bought the little round mirrors that you can rotate and put on my mirrors. Auto zone has them and i think walmart has them.

Hi , i have a 2022 and I agree with you the gas tank is way too small . i have a gas can at home. i find it better than getting gas at the gas stations . i put stabil gas treatment and carb cleaner in my gas can . i have about 2,500 miles on my bike. No problems so far. i change oil in motor and transmission approx every two months because i just want to. when i travel long distance i cruise around 40 to 45 mph. my navi will go over 50 mph. and its 100% stock.

Not a Navi fan but I do like the ruck almost bought one but I opted for the metropolitan instead I like the shiny paint and old school chrome Just a nicer machine for the money! They both have same engine!

I owned two of these when I lived in the Philippines, both were exactly the same color. Mainly drove in the jungles and mountains of Mindanao and had a blast. I drove the first bike for almost 5000 miles then bought the second one after selling the first. I kept up regular maintenance and only replaced tires and chains. I beat the heck out of the first bike, dropping it many times. On the first bike, I had an issue with the front fork seals starting to leak oil but they were quickly changed out for new ones. I believe the first bike was purchased in 2014 and it appears that nothing has changed on this model from then till now. In 2019 I sold the second bike before returning to the USA. Would I buy it again today? Heck yes, if I could find one.

@@matthewswetland3238 How do you figure the Honda is assembled in Mexico from parts all made in China or Taiwan...Hawk is actually a better bike for the money it's a grand cheaper has larger engine, fuel injection, disc brakes and from all the forums I have read very dependable. But fear not little man I bought a Yamaha XT 250 as it is light years better than the Honda or the Hawk. It is after all a Yamaha. I'll bet in a couple months you will get bored with that Honda's lack of power and heavy weight and sell it.
