I have a Pixel, too. So basically, to activate TV Swap as a feature, you need to turn it on in the app. That feature is available in both iPhone and Android apps, but in the Android version, nothing happens when you tap the feature. No pop-up, nothing. I asked Sonos directly, thinking I was doing something wrong. Word back was that it doesn't work on Android OS yet. So, you can't turn TV Swap on via an Android phone. I'm not sure if you can use an iPhone just to turn on TV Swap, but I doubt it. I suspect it will need to be the app you're using to run your ecosystem. Surely the update can't be far away, but no date has been provided. So to answer your question. Arc + iPhone SE + Ace should work, yes.

It may depend on how long it is before the Beam functionality comes. There's no timeline in place, and the app release went poorly and could be tying up a lot of their resources in the short-term.

I went with black Messiah because it is more layered and I think it will be challenging in separating instruments for most speakers and headphones hence a good test. I don't know enough about the tech to know if that would work. However, I find the screen door effect is more-or-less gone nowadays in the high-end headsets. And resolution is getting nuts on the Pimax. Maybe your solution would be the go if it meant making the headsets a lot cheaper.

@@motivatedtravel sorry to hear that. I just got the VP2 from a local shop and 2 base stations and the index controllers from steam. I ended up paying 50 euros more then the full index kit which is 1079 euros here. I am a bit worried though about some reviews but fortunately I have the opportunity to do a vs with an index from a friend.

@@motivatedtravel well I got it today and tested it VS an frends Index. Yes picture quality is better, tracking is the same (ish, I did get some tracking inconsistencies) and for my face it is slightly more comfortable but almost everything else is worse: -glare is worse, with distinct Fresnel rings visible; -smaller sweet spot and worse edge to edge clarity; -because of the small focused area, the image overall has a blurry vibe to it; -speakers are worse, less dynamic range as far as I can tell; -gets noticeably hotter and I didn't even try to disable the Variable Automatic Lighting, which is supposed to make it even hotter, if that is still a valid option with the current drivers/software; -the software is still buggy. I just played two games, HL Alyx and Beat Saber for 4-5 hours in total and I got a decent amount of errors, from the games POV just breaking, and me getting in a random position unable to move, to the VIVE console reporting all sorts of errors that required restarts; Needless to say that in the same scenarios, the Index behaved flawlessly.

I'm also not a fan of Foxtel, and I don't watch sports, so I don't need access to Kayo. To respond to your comment, I suppose it depends on what you mean by 'all the different apps'-I'm primarily referring more to subscription-based ones and extra channels because it's pretty much a given that a platform designed for the Australian market will have free-to-air streaming apps. It may change, but currently, as I said, their main point of difference is only their inclusion of Fotxel-specific content [Binge, Kayo, lifestyle and Flash]. In this respect, it will definitely appeal to the demographic that wants access to Kayo or Binge now-although I have read comments that Kayo, lifestyle & Binge may be appearing on Fetch in the future (but I don't know how true that is) potentially pushed by Telstra as part owner of Foxtel and majority owners of Fetch. I definitely see that those without Foxtel hangups who like sports will be attracted to the Hubbl Glass TV as a simple all-in-one option. But then, as a consumer, you'd have to walk into a Hardly Normal store to check it out ... strike two for me. Horses for courses I guess

It has an integrated graphics card, that will hold it back on modern games. But older titles and less visually demanding titles should be ok.

Yeah, that's usually the way it is. Australian owned company, and designed, but it rarely ends up getting made here.

I believe it needs to be a liquid. You could disolve the powder maybe, but would be a hard mix to get right.
