Why do I do this - so that the thread is not visible from the side. if you take one bead at a time, the very first one will always have a visible thread on the side - as a result, a beginner will work with protruding threads

Hello. Yes, if you use larger size beads, the necklace will turn out larger (wider) and you can make it whatever length you want. Regarding how to make such a necklace wider, you need to either increase the number of beads proportionally and then the mesh itself will be wider, or go even lower, for example when we go down with the beads, we have a count 5 5 7 8 8, and to increase you need to take a step 3 5 5 7 8 8 or 5 5 7 8 11 12 but you need to experiment to find the best quantity for the best width. or it’s probably easier to find a ready-made pattern for a very wide necklace on Google))))))))))))
