I’ve seen dunkster bricks using these junctions. Don’t know why LEGO never attempted a T junction

I think it’s a financial decision. The way they distribute through retailers would make it need big quantities whereas companies like TrixBrix do it on demand. But if LEGO were to have specialist items you had to order direct they could do the same thing

When we buy some Trixbrix stuff, we'll see if we can use standard Lego curves and points as well as Trixbrix 45° crossings to make a junction of our own!

Only real gripe would be if only the Shark was in a MOLD rarher than a buildable MOC type piece and if they had better Shark Cartilage Jaws at the bow of the boat, better Barrels and even rope lines to connect for the barrel chase and ofc the FULL SHARK CAGE... add a fishing rod and you've scored your catch!!!!

@@GJBricks who knew that Speilberg was taking a huge risk in the 1970s as he was over budget and on top of the fact the 3 mechanical sharks each were 250K in 1975 dollars which today is close to 1 million dollars each and so nearly 3 million if not more than 3 million bucks 2023 2024 spent on them prop sharks that were rather flawed
