Thank you for the kind words! 😊 There are definitely ways to style those long rectangle scarves into chic head scarves. Here’s a simple method you can try! Fold your rectangle scarf in half lengthwise to create a thinner band. Place the center of the scarf at the nape of your neck and bring the ends up to the top of your head. Cross them over each other, and then bring the ends back down to the nape of your neck, tying them into a knot or bow. You can tuck in any loose ends or let them hang for a more casual look. You can also fold the scarf into a narrow band. Place it on your forehead, bring the ends around the back of your head, and tie them into a knot. This style is great for keeping hair out of your face, too! Let me know if you want to see a tutorial for this!

@@TravelingwithJessica Thank you. That would be great, except I can't see myself wearing a tail or bow in back. Let me know if you ever do, so I won't miss it. It wouldn't be as cute as what you did, though! I kept thinking of old-time Hollywood, Carmen Miranda, and every other cute star of the time that had to cover up their pin-curls. I'm still angry about the timing and stupidity of my giving away all my beautiful vintage scarves. I had them for decades, never thought I'd wear them again, and wanted to start purging. Age, clothing style, lifestyle, and already having given away all my tailored and dress clothes -- and then I saw your video! Frig.

Totally get the worry about makeup transfer! Perhaps try setting your makeup with translucent powder to lock it in place. I recently started using a good setting spray (the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray) - it helps keep everything in check. Also, I have oily/combination skin, so I keep blotting papers handy to dab away any excess oil. Another thing I'm learning to do is that when I hug, I turn my face slightly to avoid direct contact with the other person's clothing. Hope that helps!

I make to sure to bring the scarf to the nap to neck and double-knot at the top. If it slips, then I'll use a pin on each side to hold down the scarf, especially while sleeping.
