I do like the idea of some sort of mini based fight set up. Maybe something where you can have small teams to play off against each other in a free for all fight. Like 3-5 minis per player and a way to give some sort of custom build for them based on weapons, equipment, and abilities. You could do it with D&D. But a points system to balance it, more like a basic miniature skirmish game would probably work a bit better.

That's a good idea. I haven't played any skirmish games so this could be an introduction.

Maybe some day....I know the video quality is poor and it's because all I have is a web cam and a cheap android phone to film with. I would like to upgrade, but this channel doesn't generate any income. The crafting is my hobby and I pay for all my supplies by crafting and selling items in my spare time. I will look into how much better cameras cost so I have an idea of how much money I need to save up. In the meantime I hope you can put up with my low quality vids 😁

@myminiaddiction4 ай бұрын
Besides this set I have painted all the minis from Dragon's Hoard Vol 1 & 2. I find them super easy to paint. With the big sets I would lay down base coats with my air brush then finish the rest by hand. They have a lot of good details that show up with dry brushing and washes. It made painting big batches of monsters go by fast. I will have to think about which was my favorite. (I paint a lot of minis so I would have to go home and look through my collection for a refresher)

Cool stuff. I really liked their first two volumes in spite if the first's scale issues, but as I moved away from D&D and other generic high fantasy systems I ended up passing on the Encounters. Came out great! The stills definitely show off the final piece. One thing I might suggest is adjusting the lighting some for the camera. Either that or the lens setting on the camera is set too open and it washes out all of the colors you're applying and anything you're doing to them to accent the piece. I KNEW you were doing a wash on the stucco walls, but the only time we could tell was when it was shadowed from your light source by your hands or rotating the floor. Keep it up!!
