I am sorry but I cannot remember the name of the play by play announcer of the Sabers, and I know that he recently passed away. I can see that he puts so much into his job and I love it...Rest In Peace Sir...

Ray was a total piece of shit. The announce claiming hits when they miss or land on the shoulder pads. Never beat a true fighter and got his orbital smashed by Twist.

This is Great. I have many of these fights on VHS and remember the early days of internet buying and trading tapes online, and the early 2000s always meant to convert tapes to DVD but never got around to it. Thank You so much for preserving and uploading the Best Era in Hockey. This was my hobby in the 90s, watching tapes of these fights. Still got my VHS, but they've been collecting dust. Thanks for your dedication.

You captured exactly my younger years! Sounds like you did the exact same thing as me. Pain to convert them but definitely worth it to keep these memories alive ✊️✊️🏒

Thanks for uploading these vids. I still have my large collection of fights from this era on VHS tapes and haven't watched them for years and this brings back so many Great memories. From one dedicated fan of this era in Hockey, Thank You.

You really see how much of an advantage Ray had with everything coming off. Once the fight straps started he wasn't as effective.

Barnaby was such a good player. I think he could have been even better if he'd not become a middleweight enforcer.

This was the time when enforcers fought a lot, but unfortunately Gary Bettman has ended everything in recent years, favoring only generic players

The amount of pxssies in the nhl nowadays if ray was in todays era the amount of blood and KOs on the ice would be insane. No one knows how to hockey fight like this anymore because they are eliminating it from the game slowly
