You missed a prime opportunity to teach, the youngster who hung around for a bit and the left, waiving his arms and shaking his head. And, it would have been far easier for,him to climb in and out of the truck. You don’t teach, they don’t learn. When I would go pickup my daughter for the weekend her mother would invariably have a honey do list that I needed to do before we left. When my daughter was about thirteen, I said something about it to my brother when I didn’t realize she was within earshot. Later when we were driving to the mountains to go camping, she told me that she enjoyed working on things with me, as much or more as anything else we did. Other people could take her to the zoo, or movies, and I was the only one she could learn how to fix things from. After that we actually tackled some major projects at her Mom’s house. And when she was sixteen, we fixed her dripping shower, over FaceTime using her Mom’s iPad. And she was pretty proud of herself. She grew into a fine young woman who can take care of herself.

You’re absolutely correct and I thank you for your story. Unfortunately not knowing all of the circumstances in a small clip of a video makes it hard to actually know what was going on that day.

This was the third time my husband and I ate here since the remodeling. As usual, the food was great and the service was excellent! Connor was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed! Great place! I highly recommend The Joint in Eddyville, KY!

You can’t go wrong with the Blue Ridge Parkway! We’ve driven the entire length of it in the jeep, but I would love to take the motorcycle up there one day.

Looks like a 1930s prison I was in worse then that late 1800s New Hampshire

The prison opened in 1896 and closed in 2008. Rebuilt once from a fire in the early 1900’s. Cool place to visit

This is Jody, I lived in and around Paducah for several years. We absolutely love the LBL area. We mostly do dispersed camping. We also have adventure motorcycles to ride around on.
