Really cool speedrun, I'm just wondering what exactly causes the sound to get all messed up as the run progresses?

Cutscene skips are caused by a race condition, which means 2 things happening at once, getting the unexpected behaviour. Sounds will disappear until you trigger a few textboxes or go to sunset as a byproduct.

That only does a minor zoom out, I figured out that pulling the left and right triggers in quick succession does a greater zoom out

Unrelated to the video but what do you use to make those pikmin flower logos? Isn’t the logo stored in the game as a uneditable 3d model?

I pushed it so it wouldnt slow stuff down as it entered the ship, and so it wouldn't get push backwards. Ideally it would be pushed out to the side. Unfortunately I mistimed it and it traffic jammed with ADF. I lost a lot of time, the finale to fn is arguably the worst part of this run.

Little tip: get rid of the rewind at start. I thought u were going to use rewind which is cheating. I saw why u did it but may throw others off. Just trim it. Easy to do. 😊

Been enjoying watching your P4 stuff Mokay, it's really interesting seeing how the route for this has improved. I appreciate reading the explanations you give too, as a speedrunner myself I can really relate to the reasons you mentioned for doing that. Like somehow the mistakes just don't feel quite as bad if you can explain what happened and where you were mentally in certain moments.

I did it man :) It's funny that you basically predicted I'd 24 before I came back to GC, and it actually happened. This comment is on my 28 minute run 6 months ago: ' @SoarviverForever • 6 months ago “Not sure if I can push the time further or if it’s worth it; I wanna go back to Pikmin 1” yeah okay lol. I’ll See you at sub 24 by this time next year :P ' Except i got it done in half the time ;)

Nice WR! I think the missing 4 yellows is because 2 reds grabbed onto the corpse right before it reached the Onion, I see a pink 5/3 above the corpse in the last frame it existed. Way to keep going in spite of that!

I got a really lucky one where the positron generator came flying out of the clam and landed on the beach. Issue is out of all the play through I've done of pikmin this has only happened once.
