I think those who have negative things to say about John don't want to hear the truth.Once saved always saved.We may slip away from time to time but if we are truly saved the Lord will draw us back into the fold.

I absolutely despise when people say nasty comments about MacArthur. And about people who lean more calvinistic . It's a very nasty spirit they carry. I do not agree with Arminaninsm, but I don't have a nasty, ugly view towards them. I do believe there will be a judgment against them.

In the first couple of minutes MacArthur reads a terrible comment that someone wrote about him. That he plays no role in the salvation of anyone because of his teaching. I will prove that person wrong right now. Because 6 years ago when I was 56 years old I was laying on my living room floor for 16 weeks unable to walk because of a back injury. The pain was so incredible that I crawled around on my hands and knees to get my lunch in the afternoon while my husband worked. I'm diabetic so without realizing it I had rubbed sores on the tops of my toes from dragging them behind me and almost lost three toes by amputation. I was going to the hospital every 8 or 9 days for pain medication waiting for surgery or that spinal shot of which neither I wanted. Then covid hit and it kept canceling both of my appointments numerous times. Then I came across one of the darkest days of my life where I kept singing the song place in this world by Michael w. And I kept screaming to the lord, where is my place in this world why are you letting me lay here and suffer? Of course I wasn't a Believer by repenting I just knew that God existed! Then I ran across John MacArthur, I started listening to his sermons and they soothed me. My mom was a Christian but I don't remember her ever talking about repentance and the true belief that is saving faith. Then eventually I started talking to the Lord, telling him to please fix my back I just want to go to church. One day I just realized I couldn't take it anymore and I wasn't going to lay on the floor anymore and all of a sudden I was able to get up and walk to my kitchen with no pain at all. Completely pain-free. The Lord not only saved me but he healed me. I never heard the gospel told so well that I believed everything about it and I heard it all from John MacArthur. He played the largest role in my life of being saved other than the Lord saving me through my faith with his grace. The belief I gained was from what John MacArthur told me about God. I've never questioned any of it ever since. I praise God for saving me at the age of 56 praise God for putting John MacArthur in my life! I have been a long lasting fan ever since!

It seems that whenever full scripture is spoken. People with a broad minded view of Truth claim Calvinism . I don’t know what that is or who he is? His name does not appear in my Bible. As it is written John 9:25 “ One thing I do know is that I was blind, and now I see.” 🙏 Paul under the power of the Holy Spirit (who is in my Bible) said ,in 1 Corinthians 1:7 “The wisdom I proclaim is GOD’s secret wisdom, which is hidden from mankind, but which HE had chosen for our glory even before the world was made”.🙏 GOD determined this for HIS Church. Apart from Grace we are cut off from true understanding. 1 Corinthians 1:21 For GOD in HIS wisdom made it IMPOSSIBLE for people to know HIM by means of their own wisdom. Instead, by means of the so called “ foolish “ message we preach, GOD decided to save those who believe. 🙏 . I don’t know the road Calvinism takes you. But I do know that the Grace I receive through the teachings of CHRIST through scripture is sufficient to take me all the way to HIM. For me scripture is the final authority. “ May GOD be Glorified!” 🙏

The pride of evil men is why they cannot draw near to God. We underestimate how depraving sin can infiltrate and bring our mortal bodies to sheer distruction, how much more our souls.

When unbelievers masquerading as Christians in the comment section throw stones at the gospel, you know you are preaching the gospel of Jesus. It is no different from the trial of Stephen, the excommunication of John and the rejection of Jeremiah. The gospel is an offense to unbelievers.

I want you to observe a lesson from the book of Job. The man who received the most hate for speaking of / about God was indeed right all along and commended by for not trying to make God is his own image. I am a new Christian, I was brought to FAITH in Our Lord and Savior JESUS CHRIST in 2017. I can tell you for sure that I was not saved on no terms that I agreed to or even knew about. I was not a Christian nor did I know what GOD expected from those who called themselves Christians. I injured myself at work and had no way of dealing with the suffering. I knew I was dying 😢. I looked everywhere where I could for help. No one could. At the highest point of my suffering the mental rejection from the world became worse than my physical pain. All the doors closed. I was at my end. 11/9/2017 I was rejected for the last. I walked to the end of the street and looked at the sky through some trees and was prompted by THE SPIRIT OF GOD. The words came to mind. “Please GOD don’t let me die like this?” The weight of my sins had caught up to me. HE heard my cry 😭. HIS LOVE came at that moment ,repentance and true faith began. We have been together ever since. I know that I know HIM but more importantly I know that HE knows me. I say this because I know that where I was in life was exactly where I was supposed to be 😊. The meeting that day was planned. I had nothing to do with what GOD through CHRIST in the activity of the SPIRIT had planned. ( Predestination is in the Bible) whether you like or not GOD has a plan for all of us. 2 Corinthian 6:2 Hear what GOD says. “ WHEN THE TIME CAME FOR ME TO SHOW YOU FAVOR, I HEARD YOU, WHEN THE DAY ARRIVED FOR ME TO SAVE YOU I HELPED YOU.” Listen this is the hour to receive GOD’S favor; TODAY is the day to be saved!”🙏

Good conversation, but there is a problem with using Gen. 3:1 (“did God really say…”) as a rallying cry for biblical inspiration or inerrancy. It appears to be utilized this way because of a perceived parallel between the serpent’s questioning of God’s word and the modern unbeliever questioning whether Scripture is God’s word (or whether he has spoken at all). The parallel dissolves in light of the direct objects of the two questions. For the serpent’s question, the direct object is a faulty quote (“you can’t eat from any tree in the garden”) whereas for the unbeliever, the direct object is Scripture itself. One is a twisted, inaccurate version of what God said, the other is God’s very speech. These should not be confused. The problem ultimately is that the correct answer to each question is different. To answer the serpent correctly, one would say “no, God has not said that” whereas to the unbeliever you would answer “yes, God has indeed spoken through Scripture.”

I love Pastor John Macarthur's preaching/ teaching. I'm in Perth Western Australia, I know alot of people watch his messages. His teaching makes sense, is alive. I learn something every time I listen to him. Bless you, keep going.
