Unbelievable that people in the backgroind couldn't keep their mouth shut and just listen to this beautiful song played by the master of pedal steel. Most irritating that people talk so loud during a musical performance

And Buddy, was the Steel Guitar player when John Conlee recorded it; on his incredible "classic" recording. And that is why Buddy made this a solo. So, he played at Steel Guitar conventions, etc. And He "mimicked" John; as well as he could. In other words...Buddy is always trying to play; that embellishes every singer. And they loved it. So if you close your eyes; and listen deeply; you will hear Buddy's tones; that are just how like John Conlee sang it. And that is one of the reasons that Buddy is THE greatest SG player, there will ever be. May Jesus rest his precious Soul. A dear friend; and I miss him terribly. Incidentally, I think (but not sure) I recorded that video; in one of Scotty's International Steel Guitar Convention (for yrs) in S Louis. For I was one of the camera-men; for recordings of the players . Yes, Scotty wanted every player, to be recorded. While Bill Ferguson and Dr Stevens did the sound. Thus, Bill gave me the cord; with the sound plugged into my VHS. Sad, Scotty never wanted any of those videoed, to be seen or sold; except (ONLY) each player of "their" recording. For what it's worth...

@@MrPatdeeee wow that is incredible. Thank you for sharing that with us sir. I couldn't even imagine having had the opportunity to be a friend of his and hear his playing in person. That is super neat and thank you for capturing that amazing recording. Priceless. Many blessings to you.
