This is the perfect beach music. I'm in Aruba right now with my parents, and this is a song I listen to while relaxing in the cool sea breeze. Paradise baby! 🏖🏖🌴🌴

This song helped maintain my sanity.. about twenty years ago I had an employee revolt amidst crashing revenues... a complete nightmare. This song was my refuge on lunch break. Happy to say the employees all have thrived... things resolved... If I had to pick the most important tunes in my 68 year life, this would be in the top five.,

Had the opportunity to hear Andy play several times at The Berks Jazz Fest...fabulous!...and this is without doubt, my favorite piece by him. If I remember correctly, he told me Jenny was his wife.

That is an outstandingly perfect masterpiece. I used to listen it when I was young kid cause my dad had a big collection of CDs. This is one of those records which gives me back memories from childhood. I still love it, Quincy is a genius obviously.

grew up listening to this song, my dads adoration for music was passed down and i always reflect as i grow older each year on this song, how it almost feels like a map. it changes and stays the same, along with the seasons inside my heart. i work with children today. i cant say enough about "In the poorest part of town, where the sun never reaches the ground, seeing is not believing, the feeling stays alive..Little children laughing and playing, cause they havnt learned to start hating, never giving up...They still believe in love sweet love..." believe in children. love them, protect them, empower them.

It is an evergreen classic piece of music to savor. Very cool composition indeed. Almost 30 years since it was released by Quincy Jones and it is still a joyful music track to listen to. Still going strong. Still as good as ever with the Swahili thrown in between to spice it up a bit. I've always loved it and will always do. Thank you for posting it online for younger folks to know what real music is all about. :D Be blessed

I've seen Slim Man at least 20 times since 1999 and each time the show is better than the last. The talent in this band is unmatched in any band that I have seen. The sax player Kevin could play on any national or international stage in my opinion. As well as could any of the musicians in this band. George, keyboard player that I saw the most times perform could play at Carnegie Hall anytime. Not only is this song excellent, every record available from Slim Man is.

I think that's how I heard it too. So I called the station and found it was on one of their sample CD's and ordered it. Thought somebody else my be looking for it too. There were a couple other tunes that I liked but already had or want or something. Anyway, glad you like it too. I liked it so much, you could tell that I still try to make since of it. Guess we all need to get away some time.
