It's funny cos I started out a month ago with psytrance with kind of a mix together, but now I'm just looking at kick tuts cos my kick was no where near, this is such a science to get right. Thanks a lot for this video.
@patriciotron1392Ай бұрын
Hey man thanks for your comment. Yeah it's one simple but very intricate job to knit the kick and bass together . In my opinion serum still delivers some of the best tightness and control although the envelope(lfo ) is linear and not logarithmic. The grid lock also is very helpful to know ranges and have recallable points where it is good and not so good and get back into range. I still use serum for all my kicks I might make an update tutorial on the more refined technique but this is the jist of it really. The tick envelope ( or pitch envelope 2), try to make that one undet 1 or 2ms for a more natural sounding top end or attack of your kick. Boom

u should look at audija kickdrum plugin is very simple and has a cool phase align function that is missing on kik2 :) very nice plugin

@HomegrownAudioChannel23 күн бұрын
Hare algun video pronto sobre como crear un bajo mas envolvente. lo mas importante es que este en fase con el kick y que los transientes esten a tiempo. Gracias por tu comment.

Thank you for this informative video, i am trying this to warp my live acoustic drum tracks. They were all syncd with the project tempo then I removed their warp and turn the warp back again and use the technique you have mentioned. The initial few bars are in tempo but they keep misaligning as they progress.

i have a struggle with tracks that have tempo automation , after the section with the automation the grid is totally out of tempo , any solutions?
@patriciotron13925 ай бұрын
Yeah that is tricky as... Need to make another couple of warp markers to square the final section again and one for the last beat before the tempo automation so you can get all on grid

tried a bunch of times. didn't work. not even close. ( tried it using a current house track)
@patriciotron13925 ай бұрын
Well, there are a number of reasons why u might be getting it wrong. Track is same BPM all throughout? Are you leaving the original warp point? Are you getting the wrong BPM ? This has worked for hundreds of people so u are probably missing something 😅

Tambien esta bien. te recomiendo intentar ajustar el tiempo total del kick alrededor de 1/8 para que si tenga punch

In your examples, I noticed that you are using Re-Pitch as the warp type. Can you do this with other warp modes? Or do you find that this is the best period? I'm curious because you do not mention this in the video.
@patriciotron139210 ай бұрын
Hey man I should've added that you are right. I set repitch as default because for DJing tracks its the least destructive imo. Altho it changes the pitch it doesn't slice it like beats etc...

Guys. But is there a synth with RANDOM generator of sounds/patches/pads that randomly creates a synth sound of various complexity, so I don’t have to create it from scratch. And if I like that randomly generated sound/patch I can further edit/modify it and save it for future use. I guess it would be some kind of FM synth etc. Right? Thnxx ❤
@patriciotron1392 Жыл бұрын
Yes there are a few that randomly generate patches I believe Waldorf nave does that why don't u check it out ! Sometimes it gives you good stuff but most of the time it's useless patches
