This is some of the most cope level radical individual selfish stuff to exsist. Women have destroyed the therapeutic, and psychological industry through oversaturation and massive introduction of "emotions" in everything. Rather than actually caring about deeper thinking.

I love this encourage your child to have an open mind. Okay what words do you say to a 5-year-old brain that encourages them to have an open mind about the food? That's the component that we're all missing here you can tell us to encourage give us all these adult terms all day long but until we know how to convert those terms into actual phrases and words to use with the child nothing's going to happen

Confuse them by teaching them to stay away from searching bad words online? Did you even watch this video or did you just go off the title? No one is saying kids need a full on sex talk, but things aren't how they were when we grew up where the worst thing you might see is a playboy magazine in dad's drawers. Think about it like this, a family type guy is going to have pretty normal porno mags at least if a kid stumbles across them, but online? That's where EVERY kind of person in the world keeps their porn drawer, technically. Kids can literally find a way to look up ANY. THING. Online. That's terrifying. Doesn't matter if no one in the house looks at porn now, they can find it. I want to prepare my kid to know how to avoid it, and unfortunately that means talking about it just a tiny bit. But it is a totally healthy thing to teach them about their body in general, and they need to know that you will be easy to talk to if they have any questions ever, to come to you instead of finding out somewhere else. This video had nothing but healthy approaches to this topic imo.

I have guardianship of my grand daughter and when mom drops her off she tends to linger around and then she suddenly burst into hysterics and runs after her mom. I use the transition technique with her on a daily basis and it truly is helpful but how do I deal with mom who doesn't want to follow these guidelines? How can I help my grand daughter transition to me? Often times I have to have an activity planned like playing in park, bike riding, having play date time..IS this ok?

These are such helpful tips! I was looking for advice for bigger transitions though. Like a divorce. Having to rehome cats because Grandma's allergic. Having to live somewhere new. These are all things my four, six, and 7-year-old have gone through and their behavior has been ridiculous through it. I know they are acting out because of their internal struggles and I'm trying to be patient and figure out how to help them.

Can another child's food allergies affect another child when the child with food allergies is given certain foods, and the other child with out the allergies isn't able to eat regular foods due to the child with allergies. My 6 year old was eating certain foods but now is getting very ill and won't eat. I'm getting very worried and I believe he is mal nourished due to not being able to eat certain foods while having his cousin with food allergies around.

I guess. Personally i have developed what i call second-hand taste aversions (even as an adult). For example, my mom is quite allergic to spirulina and after seeing her get sick from it several times, I have become quite turned off and try to avoid anything containing spirulina (though I am not allergic to it at all myself).
