John Lennon certainly didn't fare too well. Beautiful tune with an unfortunate message.

Sorry there is only one original Ronnette in this vid. Veronica Bennett. Sound not as good as the original recording. Check out Jay and the Americans version of this song. Jay Black kills it!

Dear Todd, fan for years, please stop fidgeting. I can't find an interview anywhere or when during which you are NOT digging around in your fucking nose. It's unbecoming, dude.

My deceased wife and I were privileged to be seated in the front row to see them live singing this song in our home country Trinidad 🇹🇹 in 1977.

Is this a police interrogation? I know John and the Beetles 🪲 are massive icons but this interview just comes off as a police interrogation by the the interviewer, it’s a bit of a weird interview. And another thing why are they walking 🚶♀️ about on the beach 🏖?

The kind of performance that kept them from making it. A year later the band turned a corner for awhile and SLAYED with a live album opening for REM but then Precoda left the band and they devolved back into meh. I can't imagine how amazing it has to be to be THIS CLOSE but no closer....

Man! How fantastic and cool it was to see this!! I've been a major fan of this incredible Double Live RCA LP since finding it in a stack of records that my brother in law had just acquired in late 1974. To this day, it's my favorite! And it brings us the greatest Rock Star in full powerful voice, delivering lines that can melt people at 100 paces! And Earl Slick's MONSTER lead guitar runs inspired my own future with the instrument! Again, i have never seen this commercial. And I want you thank you for posting it. Awesome! Marc ⚡

I remember when Duncan joined, I can appreciate a band trying to reinvent itself, but the truth is it rarely works and this didn't. I wouldn't have changed the name to just the Rollers cause nobody knew who the were, obviously, and they strayed to far away from the look. They spent a decade trying to find their way back, luckily in the 90's they kinda came back. The songs are good, the 2nd actually still has a Bay City Rollers sound to it.
