The Lian Li design looks cheap and bland for that premium price tag and the Fractal Tera is very limiting for CPU specially,it’s not practical unless you go low end CPU.

Hello everybody,just want to warn EVERYBODY of the HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and NO SUPPORT policy MinisForum has when the devide is broken. In my case sudden NO SIGNAL message on screen, RESET and all the standard options done and so have NO SOLUTION. Contacted support department and they simply refer me to seller. This one cannot or Will not help me, could also have been a dealer that has gone out of business or I I could have lost invoice, all situations that are real but point is..THERE IS NO ALTERNATIVE according to MinisForum! JUST the dealer/seller must help you, no option to send the broken mini pc somewhere to have it checked up..NOTHING!! 900€ thrown away bacause the manufacturer MinisForum REFUSES to give ANY SOLUTION other then contact dealer! Money in my pocket policy and eh..not my problema!! BE AWARE...DO NOT BUY

Have the 7800X3D in my Terra. Running IS-55 Black with the 15mm Noctua on top. I did liquid metal under the IHS and everywhere in between. Running 64c on my CPU with a 4080 Super crammed in the case as well. NH-L9 is not the best cooler.

My ocd would force me to swap out fans to brand/color match my case Noctuas.

This case is a PIA to build in... routing the AIO hoses is a nightmare. You MUST have custom PSU cables to make this work really.

This is a box I want for Fallout New Vegas + Tale of Two Wastelands; Fallout 4; games like that. I just want something with more GPU power than an Intel UHD 630.

FYI the EK 240 basic is no longer sold. The ID-COOLING DASHFLOW 240 Basic Black fits just fine and is only 65$. Cools my 5900x without issues. I love this case.

That setup isn’t gonna run 4K at 60 FPS unless you go for low or mid graphics settings and skip newer AAA titles. I had a 3080 and a 5800X, and even that setup struggled with 4K at 60 FPS in newer games and that was an standard case with proper AIO and case fans.

Weird, Noctua's own cooler revisions mostly get their performance jumps from the new fans rather than new technology.

Which is the smallest between h2o, a4 sfx, c4 sfx, t1, ch160. Must contain triple slot 322mm gpu such as msi rtx 4090 ventus 3x (smallest 4090 with FE). Dont care about liquid cooling if there is space for air cooler. Also was looking for a mini itx able to install also a blueray 4k uhd drive and card reader. Didn t find anything.

Does your A7 run hot mine feels very hot to the touch on the top? I'm in contact with support possibly to get a replacement. I also have 2 Beelinks 5800U and no heat at all when I touch them. But the A7 is hot on the top.

Hiya. I am obviously late to the party, but is there any difference between this UM790 model as compared to the less expensive UM780, aside from the very slight clock bump? If note, since I will be Occulinking this to a 7900XTX, that clock bump is essentially irrelevant to me, I think. Arguments against this thought process?

Sorry, this Mini PC is by far not quiet at all, it is loud when it is in idle and extremely loud when it is under full load. I was tempted by the really inexpensive offering on Amazon (about 480 USD for the 32 GB/512 GB version), but after I heard how loud this computer is, no thanks, I am keeping my Beeling SER6 that is also considered not the quietest under load, but when it is idle, the Beelink SER6 is as quiet as a dead mouse. Inaudible, during web surfing this is a really great little computer. My advise, when looking for a Mini PC, check if it is whisper quiet when running idle, all Mini PCs are louder when under heavy load, but this is acceptable, since they have to be cooled down, but when not under load, they must be silent.

Hi there, I am currently planning my build in the Terra but I do have an issue. I have a Gigabyte Aorus B450i Pro Wifi Mainboard which has the cpu socket weirdly placed close to the end of the PCB which makes it kind of hard to find a CPU cooler. Did I see correctly at 1:40 that this is a Gigabyte Aorus B450i Mainboard you are using?

does anyone know if this would work OK with stock market trading/charting software - such as TDAmeritrade/Schwab _Think or Swim_ or similar? I know it's not a CPU/GPU intensive video game, but software like this (in my standard usage) does repaint hundreds of quotes and update 4-6 charts several times per second. My ~2013 desktop with an Intel 4770k handles it with ease, but I'm required to upgrade to Windows 11 and I don't want to spend more than I have to. Thanks

I already had a Noctua u12a, so I had 2 NF-a12’s in black that I put white ends on. I went with the white Peerless Assassin 120. I’m using an AsRock x570 Taichi Razer edition with a Ryzen 9 5950x. I have 2 140m fans in front, 1 in top and 1 in rear on a beQuiet Pure Base 500, so it accepts a 140ml fan at the rear, which was one of my deciding factors. I have a P14 up top. For me, the fan swap did make a difference both on idle and when being pushed, and as you mentioned, it sounds way better. Also using a Thermal Grizzly Kryosheet.

My Peerless Assassin Inner Fan started squeaking after 6 months, had to replace it already.
