I recently discovered the opt-section in the BBC News. It amazed me and still does. I can’t imagine we do that here in the Netherlands. Instead our public news broadcaster broadcasts its six o’clock news at the first and second public channel simultaneously and for some reason the second channel cuts after the talelines to the regional news and the first channel ends with its ending leader and the running order continues. This is nothing compared to the British opt-outs.
