I really hope hes able to be successful with Scoot! He can really help his development a ton if Portland is patient with them.

Tisse, these interviews are terrific. I already love Duop Reath on the Blazers and appreciate him more from this interview. As a sports fan I don't want to think of players just two dimensionally.....it's great to get to know the human side of the game. WTG guys! (p.s. do more interviews if you can!)

I live in Portland and am a huge Blazer fan. I have also been a big fan of Chauncey Billips as a coach....I think he is exactly the right guy to coach and mentor a young team, and could easily grow into a coach who can take veterans to a championship. I remember when Chauncey was drafted 3rd by the Celtics, his early struggles, the trade to Denver, his time in Minnesota and his emergence in Detroit. It's great to hear him talk about all this and to hear some of the back stories; a quality human being! Thanks for this.

Dude, hope you're aware that everyone knows Goorj messed up the team selection just as he's messing up rotations now, I doubt he'll have another chance to screw you or us again.

Incredible insight. Thank you for this. Big respect, Chauncey.

Your sis cool carrying your case but and they might cancel your passport over the spider fiasco. Better not let coach see u boulder jumping in those 😂.. hope you're not gonna wear chucks on court! Will miss you with the boomers in Paris, Gorj will lose sleep over that one

I played basketball for a school in Aurora. I was a good baller… damn good. When Chauncey came to our school, it was like a circus, with reporters and a huge following. It was my first chance to see him and what the hype was all about. First impression…… how are they letting this grown man on the court?!?!?! After watching him play and seeing what he could do, it killed my dreams. I knew right then, I wasn’t pro material. He was so much stronger, faster, quicker, jumped higher, and controlled the whole floor. His vision was unbelievable. His game was levels above the rest. Much respect Great baller and leader.
