Yes control arms are officially released and available on garage23.net. Although I am not sure if they will fit ausmarket Patrols as the OEM arms look quite a bit different from each other

Yo Just oberflew your video. Sisnt know if u mentioned it. Can i get away with that turbo without a tune? Or does i 100% need a tune? (CurrentlY running stock tuebi with boost controler on 0.65bar) Working good ao far.

A tune will always be the best route but our car still isn't tuned and it's running just fine at low boost 10psi. It's only upwards of 15 psi that you can start noticing a lack of fuel so a tune will be neccessary as well as upgrading the fuel system.

Hey, awesome stuff, man! The control arm is really sweet, I remember watching your old videos about it, I got a 1st Gen Armada 4x4 and I've found that a lot of the suspension components are the same on the 2nd Gen's, the vehicles pretty much look the exact same underneath! You could look into marketing the rear control arms to 1st Gen Armada people too, I'm about 100% sure that those are the same part, you can cross reference the part number and also the aftermarket control arms to check for sure! Looks exactly the same. Also I really like the roof rack and the whole build!

Thanks so much! Yeah we are in fact marketing the arms as applicable to 2004 to 2024 Armada, Q56 and QX80. They are all the same. It's quite the cost cutting on Nissans part 😅

From my understanding it's illegal to register a RHD vehicle in Dubai so there are companies that specialize in converting JDM vehicles to LHD. This creates a market for people to import from Dubai rather than Japan if they want a LHD converted import.

Definitely looking into making sliders but not sure if we want to market that as we don't have the space to mass produce and stock something of that size. Same with the roof racks.

@@Garage23 makes sense. I ended up getting a cheap roof rack off Amazon and DIYing some mounts. for rock sliders, I am looking at 4xInnovations - supposedly the 95-04 Double Cab Tacoma sliders will fit the Gen 2 Armadas - I don't have access to tubing otherwise I would totally make something custom

I did this conversion over 15 years ago cutting those rear arches didn’t feel right at all but was definitely worth it with the end result. Parts were a lot cheaper back then to I did the oem r34 gtr motor, interior and exterior but kept the rwd and 5 speed transmission. The r34 seats needed a little modification as the floor plan is different dew to the transmission tunnel on the gtr, apart from that most bits are bolt on. Did you get the raised fender supports ?

That's awesome, definitely not a cheap endeavor at the moment. I was able to skip on te fender risers as the Z Tune style fenders have it built in. Which was great because they wouldn't have fit in my luggage at the time 😅

I have a 2020 armada it crank over but no start. Said it was my starter any ideas?

Starting issues on Armadas always come down to either the smart charginf system, or the brake switch. So i would start with cleaning the switch as in this video as it is the cheapest option, or just replacing it all together. Next would be the smart charging system, to disable this you need to unplug the sensor attached to the negative battery terminal. This will keep the system at 14.5 volts instead of variable. There is a chance the battery is bad so have it tested and replace if needed.

I’ve noticed the stock turbo loses power at high revs maybe around 5k rpm. When or where does the max speed hits its limit? Does it keep boost at High RPMs? Thanks in advance.

About the same, after 5k boost starts to drop off. I've been told it's due to the small wastegate opening.

Might be other suspension related issues then, the wheels shouldn't change the overall geometry. Possibly worn out bushings or cam bolts.

Thanks for the video. Did you go for a reman or a new rack? If so, what brand did you get and where did you get it from? My 06 QX56 is also leaking, but seems to work just fine. However with the 35" tires, it's likely getting a work out combined with the long haul off road stuff I do with it.

I went for a brand new rack from Detroit Axle, I've had good luck with them in the past. Got this one from ebay but also available on Amazon. Mine also still worked ok but the fluid leak was getting egregious.

The maxpeeding rods turbo has been great! Zero issues still, I've been running 11psi low and 15psi high. Other that hitting fuel cut in high boost sometimes it's been great.

Can you explain how you managed to get those 3 10mm bolts off from the elbow heat shield I cannot for the life of me get anything to snap those suckers loose, I've used so much wd40 and I can't find any way to get leverage to crack these loose, do you remember what tools you used to get it off? What i usually do is drive the car really hard for at least like 10 min then Park it and don't touch it for a few days, i left it alone for a week. This has worked on most exhaust bolts for me. I just used a normal wrench and socket. One of the bolts did break tho.

Only issue for me is my turbo is completely blown hence I cant drive it hard at all to do this method at the time and all my pipings and what not are removed getting so close to removing the old turbo to put in the new but been struggling up until this point, I'm think I may just have to remove the turbo from below the bay with my dump pipe and part of my exhaust still attached all in 1 piece

Hello. I own a u13 Altima (Bluebird) SR18 5MT FWD. The drive shaft on my Altima is broken and I'm having trouble finding a part. I watched this video and it says that the dimensions are similar to the one on the B15 sentra, but is it possible to use the genuine drive shaft from the sentra on an Altima? If you know of any other parts that can be used, please let me know. I would appreciate your advice.

I'm using the B15 axles because the 6speed manual on my VQ35 is the same unit used on the B15 SER, they are the correct width for a U13 but I'm not sure if the the splines are correct for the 5speed SR gearbox. Infiniti G20 axles might be another alterative.

I have 2018 nissan armada, I'm having issues with rear air suspension. I replced the rear air shocks and height sensor. It worked for a while, but now I am having issue. When I turn on the car the compressor kicks in and reinflates , but after 15 minutes of driving and hitting bumps, it deflates.

Air suspension issues are common and on going. This why most people either do a supenion lift or air suspension delete.

Using ATRAC will get you thru those parts you got stuck on and also get you up that hill climb without having to "send it" up. Just give it some steady, low RPMs and ATRAC will kick in and get you through. Also it woulda prevented that meteor lol.

When I was in auto shop in highschool we talked about floor jacks and jacks stands that same week one of the students dads passed away when the jack gave out to this day I don't forget it always put some on or at least the tire below for safety havey ou ever opened a floor jack to see what holds them just a rubber seal

Just for reference, you need a 10mm socket with extension for the bolts and a pair of pliers or channel locks for the hose clamps. That way, people can have the tools ready ahead of time.

Depends on the exporter, some aren't set up to let you do that as it's basically a rental car service and requires different licenses and insurance.

Oh you mean in the US? Yeah you can drive it like a normal car. Some states just require collector car insurance to bypass emissions testing.
