Mercy is the destruction of Justice. Jesuit mercy destroys any hope of justice for the victims of clerical abuse. When wealthy bishops and cardinals become abusive, it needs to attract attention. Too bad a retired archbishop criticizing a Pope, now brings excommunication. What hope does a poor prophet have for justice in such a hierarchy?
