Dan the Man was my Hero growing up... Every week watching him come from behind. Never really got that supporting cast that truly helped him out. Long live the King! Thanks for the memories Dan!!

Sting without Copeland and Summers is like a neutered, toothless German Shepherd. At least girls like that music.

Great episode! It is interesting that artists now actually make most of their $ from live performances. They don't even make $ off music sales anymore. As far as "Maverick" goes- The movie was good ( Not as good as the first) but the soundtrack was not even close to as good.

I had the pleasure of meeting Cortez and chatting with him on more than a few occasions. Our daughters played basketball together at Lake Nona High School in Orlando. Tez was a very nice man, loved to talk about his hunting trips in Arkansas with his friends. I got to visit his home and see his Defensive Player of the Year award and his Super Bowl ring (from N.O. Saints).

I saw REO when I was a sophmore in high school. It was my second concert ever. We were in the 5th row in the Omni in Atlanta. OMG! I was blown away and transformed! What a show. I am now 56 and it is still remember it like yesterday.

You have gotten more and more mature in your narrations now (as good as anybody doing broadcasting) You are killing it! You are on top of your game now and I couldn’t be prouder! If I could pick one player from the entire history of the NFL to start a franchise with, it would be Dan Marino. He not only had an insanely strong arm and threw with accuracy, he could also throw with touch, could pick apart the best defenses (see Marino beating the 1985 Bears), had insane vision of the entire field, and despite being a slow runner he was so quick to feel presser and avoid a sack like no other. - IMHO, Marino was the best quarterback in the history of the NFL.

Yoko got him shot... she used to drag him out in front of his apartment building to sign autographs and show him off in front of fans. His killer even got an autograph from him there- and stalked him in the open. She was dumb and he should have known better. A very sad day in music history... and she caused it all.

While I have no desire to ever be tackled/hit by any NFL player, there are players I ESPECIALLY wouldn't want to be tackled/hit by, and Kam is right at the top of the list

While I don't believe that Marino was the greatest QB ever, he is among the very best at passing the ball. Few could match his total pass package of accuracy, arm strength, and quick release.

The thing that made grunge take over had nothing to do with marketing or anything but the fact that grunge had a bunch of extremely talented bands that played music with meaning and it didn’t all sound the same like the hair band era did let’s face music in the 80s was garbage with really good guitar solos
