Once you have your audience segmented, what are you sending them based on that? I’m on mailchimp so the lingo is a bit diff but are these segments for journeys or random emails? For example, now that I know who the VIPs are, what do I do with that?

In other words, Click Rate is the same as email open rate.... while click through rate gives us an idea of how many people clicked on the links inside our emails.

However, after publishing my email flow (with just one generic welcome email) and linking it to the email list that subscribers join when they fill out and submit the pop-up that I created for my website, I am collecting emails, but the welcome email is not sending. You want to do: “what someone has done/not done” >> received email at least once in the last 1 days (or 3 or 5 days, up to you) >> then add filter to that last condition and specify “where flow equals welcome flow” Hope this helps!

Hi Kasey, thank you so much for this tutorial. I created my AC flow (check out started) by following your directions. Can I clone this flow and create the same flow for active cart? what do I need to change for active cart flow different than the check out started? You can duplicate existing flows, but you can't change the trigger after doing so. To create an active on-site flow, you'll need to start from scratch in flows section.

Great content, Kasey! Regarding open emails tracking, to my understanding it has been some time since the data is not accurate, especially with emails received in iOS devices (Safari), where unopened emails are marked as opened. How do you deal with this?

Hi Kasey - been watching all your videos, I wanted to find out if this was normal. My Welcome Flow is activated when someone signs up on the pop up. Smart sending then prevents the add to cart / checkout from then sending the first email in those flows. Would you say this is okay as the Welcome Flow trumps those flows?

@@FK_1703 yes! I actually think if you sent emails from ALL those 3 flows at the same time, it would be too much. In fact, we often add filters to the add to cart/started checkout flows to prevent this exact behavior. We prioritize the welcome flow because it usually has more in-depth information and better offer.

You only need flow filters to not let the customers receive emails at the same time in your pre-purchase flow series. Don't turn on the smart sending in your pre-purchase flows except Active on site Flow.

I'm looking to set up an email flow in Klaviyo that is triggered by an appointment made in Calendly. Right after the appointment is made a confirmation needs to be send from Klaviyo and then an email must be send 1 day prior to the meeting and an email must be send 1 day after the meeting. Connection can be made using Zapier. Can you please make a video on it , please ?
