Have you done another video on your Doohan itank? Very interested. Having difficulty in finding uk dealers. Looks like you might have got yours from Poland? Is it suitable for 2 with pillion passenger and can you drive on UK car licence. A dedicated video on all these aspects would be really helpful. We're about to order a Carthago liner 42 like your friends. Would this fit in the garage without the trailer?
@laikalikers957011 күн бұрын
Hi, Thanks for watching. Yes, I will be doing a separate video on the iTank and the trailer. It would definitely go in the garage of the L42. Our friends have an L version of the Carthargo and it will definitely go in there. Not sure on the standard length version. As far as I know, and I did months of research, there is NO agent in the UK. The official EU agent is in the Netherlands. I imported from Poland as it is a 3000 watt model and it was cheaper from them than the official EU agents in the Netherlands. It's big enough for a pillion passenger (just) and, being a trike, you can drive on a car license. In fact you don't even have to wear a helmet, but we always do. This is very helpful www.westyorkshire.police.uk/ask-the-police/question/Q504

Hi Chris. We are all over 60 and taken early retirement. We rent out house out and with a small additional income enables us to enjoy the travels and things we do. We believe life is too short to be working all of our lives (having worked since leaving school) and are now fortunate enough to be able to afford what we do. Being in the motorhome is much cheaper cost of living than in a house with spiraling bills and taxes etc etc. It's just a matter of doing the sums and taking the plunge. Thanks for the comment.

How long is your RV? And do you know anything about crossing with dogs?
@laikalikers95702 ай бұрын
Hi @PawssportAdvetures. Our motorhome is 7.85 metres long. Our friends motorhome is 8.7 metres long and that was also fine, but you do have to take it very easy to watch out for bottoming out. As for the dogs, we do not have dogs and as far as we can tell, you can take dogs to Northern Cyprus but are unable to take dogs across the border into Southern Cyprus. But that's not certain and you should do the necessary checks to confirm whether it's possible or not. 👍

Hi there, we are seriously considering buying one exactly like this next year . As for quality and design cathargo liner for two probably is the best out there by far. But theres something worrying us thats potentially preventing us buying it. Our question to the owner is, are there lists of bespoke sites in Europe to park these expensive liners like for example concierge in Chichester. Thanks G&G.
@laikalikers95703 ай бұрын
Hi G&G. Firstly, thanks for watching and hope that it was informative. The owner (we call him Bowlsey) has not had a smooth ride in owning the vehicle to be honest. From new there have been a LOT of issues with the motorhome and I'm sure he wouldn't mind me saying that. However, almost ALL new motorhomes will have issues and he would not swap it for any other vehicle (apart from a Morelo if it had a rear lounge). To answer your question, we have been on a 6 month journey from the UK to Cyprus , taking in France, Italy, Greece and Turkey too. From memory there wasn't anywhere that he couldn't park the motorhome. Yes, there were some tight places but on the whole 90% of the time it wasn't an issue. But, please bear in mind that in Europe the majority of campsites are not 5 star such as concierge. Laikalikers.
@laikalikers95703 ай бұрын
Hi G&G. I just wanted to say that another couple of motorhomes that you should definitely consider are Morelo and the Niesmann & Bischoff Flair 880. Both top quality motorhomes. They don't have a rear lounge but they are magnificent motorhomes. Laikalikers.

Another great insight to visiting Cyprus in a Motorhome 👍 We know the Ayia Napa area quite well as we had an apartment in a small village on the outskirts and scuba dived lots in Green Bay and Konnos. We've thought about visiting in our motorhome and you're making it sound quite easy. Is it? Fully understand about the issues getting there as we've watched your previous video and we're not unfamiliar to 'Middle Eastern' paperwork, etc. It's more of finding lpg, water, black waste disposal etc. Have you found that easy? Also how long are you over there for? It's definitely given us food for thought. As an aside have The Antalya Posse got a KZfaq channel? Sorry I think I might have repeated myself from a previous message 🙄
@laikalikers95707 ай бұрын
@sueparry4657. Hi Sue, thank you for the comment. The Green Bay is quickly becoming our favourite place to park up in Cyprus. Getting here is a bit of a Pfaff though and overall, we feel, has been so worth it. We have found, surprisingly, that getting water (non potable) and disposing of black waste to be quite easy. Most of the beach park ups have toilets that are open and we have been using those to empty. LPG is here, but is very short supply. We have only, thus far, found 2 garages with LPG and find ourselves looking for it every time we pass a garage. 😂 But it is here. We are leaving Cyprus in February back to Turkey to continue our journey. The Antalya Posse is just a name I used for the group of lovely people we met in Antalya so they don't have a YT channel. A couple of them use Facebook and Instagram and one other uses YT. If you'd like to check them out please message and I'll supply the links. You should definitely come here in your motorhome, it's a wonderful experience. Thanks for watching. 😀👍

@laikalikers95707 ай бұрын
Hi Steve. Cyprus is just wonderful. Although it has gotten a tad expensive to be honest. Prices are in line with the UK and the UK has a cost of living crisis. Cyprus, to be honest, is not geared up for Motorhomes but that's ok as beach front parking is not banned as yet. But if visitors keep it clean and leave it as they find it, it will hopefully stay that way. Weather's good, food is good (in the main) as the majority of restaurants are still open, people are lovely. Cypriots are very curious about Motorhomes as they don't get to see many. So they ask questions and the first 2 are always "How did you get here?" and "How much is your motorhome?" 😂😂 Always those two questions. But it's nice to engage in conversation. I would recommend Cyprus by motorhome if you can handle the trouble in getting here. Now we have done it we would definitely come again. Thanks for watching and the comments. 👍

To prove that, take a measure with that level, then turn it around to its other side. Is the bubble in the same spot? Bingo. Bad levels do that.
