I recently watched some reviews I'd compiled in a playlist for The Half of It & told my counselor THAT was a love triangle done right! She was sad about the ending, but I thought it was pretty realistic since the lead was going to college & it even gave us hope for them to possibly have a future together. Besides, it was also an exploration of friendship & family and her friendship with the guy was sweet. I loved the last 15-20 seconds of her final scenes with both of them. And I like that the film subverts expectations. It did bother me that the main character was SO afraid of the girl she was crushing on, even when the girl was giving all kinds of indications that she liked her too. But then again, she's only- what? 17? I was stupid at 17 too. I was still stupid well into my 30s & thought I was going to live forever. Now that I'm a lot older & alone, I know I should not have been so hesitant when I was younger & I'll know not to waste time IF I ever meet someone I like again. That's a big if, since it hasn't happened in a very long time. Don't dick around feeling embarrassed if a girl is giving you signals like that. I thought the actress who played the love interest did a really good job in this film. I could not understand why the lead didn't pick up on her interest.

I've watched this before, i have always been waiting for season 3 for them to reconcile but nothing and the ending isn't a happy one.

I watched this several years ago. I loved their love story…It is not continued in season 3 and that season is very difficult to watch.

This is definitely a new series to me. Who doesn't love intrigue, especially when the bad-girl lesbian turns good-girl (or at least, better girl) in the name of love. While watching, I thought this could be made into a movie with Kate Mara and Kiera Knightly. A dream couple, in my book!
