Stray cats take time to be tamed and trusted cuz they have seen the dark side of humanity for years and they cant just absorb the bright side so easily as the dark memories keep in place. As they keep getting trusted and tamed, they start to forget the bad memories. We should love animals, It doesn't have to be cute as a cat always to be worthy of a well behave and kindness from humanity. There was a stray cat near my house. Everyday i would go up and pet him at the same time, he was rll friendly and never flinched always let me pet him even uf he was sleeping. One day, i stopped going up to him bc i moved away and it was a 30mins walk and i was busy. I went up to him today after 2months, and he flinched and hissed at me, thats when i noticed someone had hit his eye bc it was blind. With slow movements i let him walk up to my find to smell me and make him realise i wouldnt hurt him. He looked up on me and buried his face on my hand to pet him. I was overthinking what happened to him i rll love that cat.
