Funny yesterday my wife and I were in a grocery store and I saw a product called "Pure Corn Oil", that's funny cause I have never been able to squeeze oil from corn. Anyway you're absolutely right, I eat 2 meals a day, 1 home brewed coffee and fast for up to 20 hours...going back to the SADiet would be a very costly move.

Funny thing. I had two doctor appointments today. I got to each one early in spite of tourist traffic. BOTH doctors saw me early since I was there. So then I got home earlier and that made the afternoon more productive. I highly recommend getting to places early.

Carnivore low carb very expensive with the statins and diabetic meds you will end up on. Also your cancer or cardiovascular surgeries will cost you plenty. Your arthritis from tmao from the animal protein may lead to hip or spinal surgery
@Riverszen

Wow, but low carb/carnivore reversed all of those for me 17 years ago and none of them have returned.

@@Riverszen thats what my neighbor said . Later he had a massive heart attack. There is no data demonstrating long term benefits. Actually low carb diets increase all cause mortality by 20-30 percent. I doubt you have been on a carnivore diet for that long. Are you affiliated with animal agriculture ?
@Riverszen
@Riverszen Ай бұрын
Nope not part of that industry and you're 💯 rrect only 17 years of optimal health reversing diabetes, arthritis etc etc. Thriving in my 70s... Thanks for the warning. So maybe in another 20 or 30 years it will show?
@Riverszen
@Riverszen Ай бұрын
Let's see... you're right... I've only been low carb for 17 years, reversed diabetes (14.1 A1C to a suistained 5.5 and lower for 17 years... and other ongoing diseases I was dealing with are gone... from broken in 2007 to optimal healthy in 2024. I'll let you know when that study you quoted kicks in... I know 17 years isn't that long... but I do have a friend who has been on for 40 years with the same results as me. (you might want to look a little deeper into the methods they used for the study you quoted and who funded it).

@@Riverszen My A1c is 4.6 on 70 percent starch diet for 5 years. And my arthritis went away. take a glucose tolerance test to check your insulin resistance. A1c just tests the management of sugar not your insulin resistance.

In my country (tropical), it not expensive, but it's also expensive if you considered what kind of meat you want to eat. The price of 300 gr of beef meat is about the same with the price of 2 kg broiler eggs, and 1 kg of chicken. I think if I only eat eggs, I still can be considered as carnivore, but I don't know if I will get everything from the eggs... I can't afford the red meat, anyway. The good news is my country people like to give our ruminants grass (it's almost free feed since the grasses will always sprouted). But the chickens are probably feed with grains. I heard that's not good. And they're caged. But eh, as I am not yet wealthy to afford free range pasteur raised eggs, I can only eat the commercial eggs. Is it okay to only eat eggs?

Try to vary what you eat eggs, chicken, fish and when possible ground beef.
@nogames8982

Eat what you can afford. It doesn’t have to be all ruminant animals. Eggs, poultry, seafood and fish are fine also. You can live pretty darn good on nothing but eggs, but you also need some red meat for the iron. So try to eat more red meat but don’t stress about it. Eat what you can afford. It’s OK.

People think it's three meals as usual, not realising the satiety that comes with beef and eggs. Satiety driven by metabolic requirements being met.
