Commmenting so i can fins this video again and update. My 2014 ecodiesel gas 150k miles on it and is bangin into gears and juddering under load and all the stuff im used to when i drive a vehicle with a bound up transfer case. She has already burnt the fluid in the front diff and trashed its input bearing. Have put a new front diff in bit have left the fuze for the transfer case out while i save up for a transfer case(pulling the fuse renders the car rwd but all other symptoms disappeared)... So ive just bought this module, the latest one, keen too see how she goes.! My car had the ticking sound too and occational service 4wd message.

Nice video, thanks for sharing. I like how it's "real", as in how it shows the real process, unlike some of these other videos that make everything look like cake when they actually struggled with certain parts. I also have a suggestion for an even better shifter feel. You probably won't believe this, but it's true. The M Performance shift knob is worth every cent. It's probably past $300 now, but the difference is massive. If someone had told me that it'd be that much of a difference I would have laughed. It's a knob. But it's really a massive improvement, and together with the Turner shifter bushing and free CDV delete it's an entirely different experience.
@TheEddysGarage11 күн бұрын
@@andrewthompson6893 excellent than you. I try to show that the struggle is real 🤣. I was thinking about putting a few fishing weights in the knob or securing them to the upper part of the leaver, under the Alcantara boot.
@andrewthompson689310 күн бұрын
@@TheEddysGarage The knob is the problem. It's meant to dumb down the experience. Changing to the MP knob is a complete game changer. I will say that it takes a bit of getting used to because it's much smaller than the OE knob, but the shift action difference is massive.
