@@Mark_Bickerton English Parliament was closed in 1707, It's been Britain ever since, Scotland, Wales and the north of Ireland all have parliaments of their own again, except England, I think its about time folk down there started to want their own again and remember what England is.

@@TheJpf79The English Parliament never closed. When the Acts of Union came into effect there wasn't even a new election or anything. Just a continuation of England's already existing parliament and session. Westminster is England's parliament, in a way it's Wales' too because England abolished Wales' law system over the course of the 15th century I think it was. When an issue that is devolved to the nations is a topic in England, it's debated in Westminster. It has and always will be England's parliament. A parliament of colonisation across these islands that it has no right to.
