You absolutely can, they just don't look as good because they don't combine properly and they're a pain to get them to drain and fill properly

@@lOlivetGT hmm it's hard to say tbh in case that modpack changes the recipe. You're best off finding the crafting recipe for the book (normally a paste and a book) and the recipe should hopefully be in there

any luck? my server donest have a craft either and book shows no recipe

If you are are placing the cube beside the machine then check the side config of both the cube and the machine. If you are putting the cube in the machine in the energy slot then I don't believe the side config should matter.

You don't need power, you just need the lazer to ignite it and fuel

i have this problem too. wich mopack do you use? i use create mekenism.

Make sure the tank is set to output top, and that the reactor is fully built or it won't connect

You probably can but it will restart the system again so this way you have to manually intervene and avoid disaster so it's more of a failsafe

@@Hellfirem4ge isnt that good tho? i think im missing something. cuz it will only reset itself when the problem is resolved? so then it goes back on and if something goes wrong again it will stop it again. or am i forgetting something?

If everything goes well then yes. The problem is that with chunk loading etc, stuff doesn't always work perfectly. You should be aiming for the system to never go off, rather than have it go off and reset

They're pressurized pipes, they should be part of base mekanism

Normally the issues are: - It's too tall (fans don't fit) - The configuration of the magnet and motor is wrong - there's a random glass block inside the reactor or an input missing Beyond that it's kinda trial and error tbh. Make sure your modpack doesn't need structural glass too

Just figured out, that I used the wrong blocks, since I didnt foznd the needed Block in the creative inventory for Mekansim at the turbine parts. Fixed it and it worked

The water sink is from cooking with blockheads but you can just use a water pump from mekanism

@@Hellfirem4ge So, I managed to make the reactor, but it doesn't seem to be outputting any reactor waste, everything works and it stays cool, whilst the turbine generates steam and it's used, but no waste to be found?

@@Lystior that is super strange, have you made sure to set one of the outputs to "waste" (the orange one I think)

Heya, I’m working with Lystior on making this whole mekanism build (i need chorus fruit and our server won’t go to the end until friday) - I managed to crank out the final components needed cus his ass kept delaying / complaining Frankly I’m not the best at mekanism, hell, this is the first I’ve done, but as I play the role of the ARS mage I’ve been gathering materials. Assuming you’re aiding him with the nuclear reactor, would you say we’re clear to start on a fusion reactor the moment the fission reactor is finished? I’ve got a hell of a short college day tomorrow so I plan to crank out mekanism whilst he does his exams.

I wish I knew 😅 I asked the devs and was told there wasn't a command for it
