all buildings at this resort had sewage backup issues, specifically building 2 an 3 which were the "Diamond Club". We were a group of 45ppl and no room had toilet paper, or clean towels or bedsheets and there was no food (not a surprise). Plastic cups for drinks were being reused, no beer, no wine. So many Russians and sex trafficking groups, do not leave your children unattended, they're EVERYWHERE.

@@EverestTravelsYears ago before MSC had the drink package they had a drink book with coupons.The coupon book allowed for 🍧,and gelato shakes and frozen coffee.Thanks for the info I will not buy the non alcoholic drink package then.

Is Canadian money ok in the city ? Its been 15 years since i went. Don’t want to get stuck paying for something in Canadian and have them do converting to USD.

If we were going into the city, we’d bring American. Canadian coins won’t work most places, and USD has smaller bills for the smaller purchases if you don’t want to break out your credit card. Hope that helps, Thanks for watching!

I remember cruises when everything was included and the staff did not have thier hand out for a tip every time you turned around. When you purchasee a cruise your meals are included. Why would anyone go to an extra cost dinning room when you are supposed to get a great meal every time? At one point the commentary 'even though a tip is covered in the tip package, you might want to give something extra.' Why? I'm sorry but crusies have become a giant rip off.

Universal may be the cheaper option, with lots to do for 4 year olds, but Disney would have more recognizable lands & characters for that age group. Both are great options though! Thanks for watching

Take at least 100 one dollar U.S. bills to give as tips to everyone including people you wouldn’t normally think to including the landscapers, bathroom attendants and entertainers and all service staff. Take stuff to give away including shirts, hats, batteries, flashlights…anything. Trade your Canadian money for Cuban pesos with hotel staff…be discreet…do it out of sight of co-workers and tourists. Be generous…be kind…be thoughtful…be complimentary. Stay in the shade…don’t drink too much just because it’s included. Bring snacks like granola bars. Learn at least 20 words in Spanish.

There were kiosks to assist with check in, but we didn’t see a full self check in option (nor were we looking), but they did ask people to go back to the check in area if they only had a digital boarding pass. So if you can’t get the kiosks to print a boarding pass, our advice is wait in line to grab a printed version just in case

The pool has some shade, but most of the beach is exposed to the sun. Some relief can be found when moving chairs close to trees

You can make a reservation for free in the lobby for the a la carte restaurants. There are some paid experiences you can invest in, but everything we covered was included in the ‘all inclusive’ packages
